As a Bournemouth fan who stood in the South End that day i've enjoyed the last 10 years watching Leeds demise. How ironic that Bournemouth are set for promotion to the Championship this year and who knows the Premiership the following year joining the other 'seasiders' Blackpool.

Did just about every game home and away that season-and THAT weekend down there was one of the best of my life-one of the best leeds followings i've seen outside yorkshire for a league game
i remember watching this on a big screen in a pub in chapel town, and when carl shut missed his sitter on 1:10 the whole pub thought we were 1-0 up, it wasn't until 10 minutes later when we had stopped going mental that we realised he'd missed! One of the best days in leeds united's history...
I was at the first game of that season at Newcastle where we lost 5-2. We actually didn't play badly. Just everything Newcastle did (and fatman Quinn) came off in the second half. We were worthy champions in the end. Thoroughly deserved!
Great video mate, my memories of this game is the picture in the YEP of Chapman scoring he hit the ball that hard with his head it looked like he had dented the ball!! Class
Great video! I remember watching this game at Armley Sports Centre on a big screen, awesome atmosphere there - would have been mind blowing at the game!

Probably the only time Vinny Jones resembled a proper footbsller. He was great @ Leeds.
