i honestly have to say you should take a history course and find out the following. The catholic church was rife with corruption and people deliberatly lying about what the Bible actually said, books at the time of indulgences were extremely expensive and hand coppied, hence only the super rich and the church could afford them. because of that rich people bought places in the church (simony) and used them for their own benefit, that has nothing at all to do with God, thats called corruption.

On the contrary, I believe there is no god and that religion is only fear of the unknown and used to contorl the majority. It has become so ingrained in our minds and in soceity that we have forgotten why religion was created in the first place. People wanted to have something to look forward to after death not because they had any proof at all it was going to happen. It was used especiallly in midevil times to control the public.

I've been a Christian all my life, and I've attended a Christian school for years, & i still didn't know "all about the crap". all i knew is what i was taught. i got older and realized a lot of things. i didn't fully know and have faith in what i was taught until i applied them. just look around you. look at yourself. that is your proof. God is real. I guarantee it.
