I'd advise anyone wanting to do this excursion to make their own way to the town of Phang Nga (by air-con bus from Phuket town) and negotiate a long tail boat with a local. The cost will be a fraction of an organised tour, especially if there's 4 or more in the group, and the experience far, far better.
