I fell in love with the story, It broke my heart when they killed her. She was the best vampire there is and ever has been. She was the most beautiful little girl anyone could ever have seen. I honestly have to say that of all the vampire based movies I have seen, this is by far THE best. Just my honest opinion...but I haven't seen any top this. Queen of the damned is good, and a few of the dracula movies were good, but they just don't really make them like they used to...it's a shame.

I have watched the movie and read the book. So far I think the BIGGEST difference is that in the movie Lestat is a complete pompus ass while the one in the book had fights and words with Louis, but he was likeable and even funny.

PS, Interview With The Vampire is BETTER than Twilight. IWTV is a 55 gallon drum of "ASS-WHUP" while Twilight is just a CAN!

Well, he has a human soul which allows him to still feel sadness, but I think that Rice leaves "how much" human emotions he feels ambiguos...He isn't attracted to say a human woman sexually, it always leads to hunger or a basic vampiric desire...so I'd have to say he can't love as a human does, though he probably comes closest out of all of the characters.

I would have to agree. I really can't stand Tom, but he portrayed that character extraordinarily well. I liked the dude who portrayed Lestat in "The Queen of The Damned", too! Brad Pit is just a weeeee bit too pretty, but he did Louie to perfection! He was best in "Legends of The Fall". I can't remember who played Claudia, but she played the part better than I could've imagined. She was best in "Little Women", though!
