I think that if you download Sony Vegas via Ares or something of the sort, some of them come with a special program that generates the serial trial number you need in order to keep the software without paying for it :)

Well I have thought of many different ways of trying to get the software back, but I figure just waiting for a NEWER version of the trial to come out will probably be the simplest of all solutions. I'd rather not go putting my nose where it doesn't belong in case the men in the suits come along. But I am open to any other types of suggestions that wouldn't leave me with viruses, etc. Thanks.

Actually no. This House video is created from one of Sony's many different editing programs. So far I have attempted two seperate House videos in Sony Vegas, but my trial always seems to expire & that just frustrates me because it always shuts down. Yes, WMM can be a pain, my other House vids are all made in WMM. I obtained my clips a few years ago from my DVD's.
