I like the ideologies, and the reasons behind the genera but it died in 1993 and what was started has been lost. I mean I still like some bands that dare to do something different, but for the most part I don't see the originality it once proclaimed

@erlosungmetal black metal is more about the emotion and atmosphere. yeah a lot of bands sound similar but if you read the artists poetry and close your eyes, you can still feel the same emotion. although im more referring to the depressive and atmospheric BM. There are lots of crappy black metal bands out there for sure. but a lot today still love the genre for what it is. even though they play similar styles as other artists, the passion for the art is still there.

@embracedbyfrost That's something I try to find in black metal, but it is something that is rare to come by these days. I feel like 99% of the bands out there are all about being trve and kvlt screaming about killing Christians and raping women by the guidance of Satan or whatever. Not much originality seem to exist in the scene anymore. I'll always listen to black metal. bands like Windir and Emperor still reign my my playlists, but there's only so much out there that's actually any good.

the key board should be splashed with blood and pieces of corpses. and in the fields have dead bodies around you while you sing and ahve a burning pentagram some where if you can find a spot to do one while you growl in the middle. Overall more blood and guts in vid = better black metal vid. awesome sounding song tough

We, as do many Christians, use statues and images to help us visualize in prayer. They serve as reminders just like a picture of your family serves as a reminder. Our prayers are to God, not the image. This is one of the most misunderstood concept by some Christians. Hope that helps you understand. Yeah, we had a female vocalist and I wrote parts for her (particularly this song), but she wasn't able to continue with the band so I had to replace her parts with keys..
