Me gusta, el concepto es bueno, me disculpo por visitarlo recién hoy, es que no sabia que tenia un mensaje, y por curiosa lo encontré. te felicito, tienes una buena Banda.
I like this a hell of a lot. The Hendrix-y vocals, the guitar that reminds me equally of SRV, Jimmy Page, and Santana, and I'm not a good judge of drums, but they sound solid to me. I'd start looking for a Budgie inspired bassist if I were you, and try to riff just a little more.
I hear a good guitarist and drummer, the vocals need some more finetuning but the timbre is very promising. I played it several times, and I think the classic rock bands that you honour will be proud if they would hear it.
I agree with some of the comments here, adding bass would give a very big boost, certainly on the solo-parts the bass will be a huge support. I love the unpolished sound though, this kind of music doesn't ask for a clean sound, it has to stay a bit dirty.
As far as constructive criticism goes the only things I could say are add some bass and insert some effects and eq into those drums to polish the sound a little. Other than that this was superb! :)
I like the guitar. I feel like the rhythm could switch up more, but I get kind of ADD with songs sometimes, lol. Also, I like instrumentals a lot, but if there is going to be singing, I personally that you need to choose this as either a instrumental or cut the intro a lot. But overall, I really like it. :D
This is pretty good! All you need is a bass and it would sound like a real rock song by a famous artist. I can really hear Hendrix, Page, and Clapton in this recording.
one thing i think that would really help your music, is if you got your ass kicked. like you got a bottle broken over your head and punched in the face and then caught your woman with another man and after you woke up in a pool of your own blood and vomit.... you played this.
and if that's happened to you, don't hold back, put it all in your music.
the vocals need more commitment and also eq'ing.
the guitar playing is technically pretty good, but it could be soul-crushingly good.
This is a Project for you, isn't it? i Think your way too good of a guitarist to not know you would be critiqued to add a Bass. So I'm curious as to what the project goal really is.
I agree with some of the people below , you should use a bass, the vocals is alright, mabe sing lower? i dont know, just a thaught. Anyways the guitar is really good, keep that shit up.
You asked for constructive feedback, so here goes:
1. The guitar playing is excellent, you have excellent blues technique.
2. While bands like the White Stripes and Black Keys have a great sound, I always thought they lacked a bass player, someone to hit the lower registers. It gives you a very complete, rich sound. In short, you need a bass player.
Definitely a good chemistry going on between the guitar player and the drummer. The vocals is reminiscent of early Black Sabbath and perhaps could still be enhanced. Adding a Bass line and just a touch of Remastering would really get this song ready for primetime! All the Best!
Killer riffs man. really rad guitar i can tell you are really feelin it man but i think it could most definatly use some more bass. The guitar riffs do have a very Jimmy Page like feel to them though, which i like. Its crazy and there is a lot going on in them yet it is still very chill. I dig it man.
can definatly hear Jimi hendrix and led zeppelin in this which is great, add more of you to make it unique to you while still keeping it classic to honor your influences
try to put more of You when singing just close Your eyes an feel it all of You. But just details which ones are easy to step on it and be God Master and let the gitar cry. beatiful just almost perfect only one more step..
What can I tell You beatiful but from my point of view gitar dont cry extremly perfect You schould work a litle bit at that but don"t take personal it is beatiful any way:)
Its a good demo. Needs a backbone though, another guitar or bass running the rhythm. The speed picking gives it a nice feel but you need something in the middle or end. Something different. A solo or a drop, or maybe a pitch change or bridge. Also, the obvious: vocals and lyrics. Redo. Other then that. It sounds like it could turn out really well. Keep it up.
the thing worked for pinkfloyd cause they where far different from their contemporaries, note that they invented a new sound and still today it sounds greate, originality and research is the key, and passion of course, you got talent, maybe you need some experimentation, for many bands the key is passion and talent, not presicely a new sound, and you sound nice, maybe you need a litle passion mixed with a few originality, cause it seems to me that you play greate
As some people stated below, the vocals aren't very good. Try to pay attention to tone, and always evaluate yourself: 'Do I sound the way I'd want a professional singer to sound?'
The guitar solo's are good, but I'd suggest you don't overdo the fast notes. You have to find an equilibrium between showing off, and grooving to the beat, or touching a sensitive string. Think of it like every note you play has something to say, and you don't want to interrupt his speech.
Great sound, great guitar. Yes, a little more power and projection in the vocals would be good, but that can be developed. Keep up with it, you're doing great!
This is just an opinion from a highschooler with an ear for all music. This song has class AND soul.(not in vocals or lyrics, though) Superb playing, but I hate the lyrics and vocals. As a huge fan of Zep, I am glad that the instrumental somewhat reminds me of Zep., but back to the lyrics and vocals, I don't feel any soul there. NO class for vocals. The vocals threw this song in a ditch to die. Other than that, this song blew my mind. Keep up the good work! ♫

Ok. Man.... I am going to be honest with you. Man, it Sucks, No Timing, No one is even playing the same song in parts. What the Hell are you thinking, sending this out like it's good music. Man, This ain't even as good as Punk. It needs a LOT of work, Keep trying, and get the band all some Headphones for the next time you record something. It Might Help, I don't know!
Cheers for the send. I enjoyed this. I think there's a lot of potential here. I think maybe some more rhythmic changes with all the instruments would really add some nice flavour, instead of just guitar solos. Also, maybe get some Bass on the track? Sick guitar playing though
Hey thanks for sending me a link... it's not bad but i think the vocals could be stronger and the riffs could be more unique i guess, but i think you're on the right track anyways wish more people would attempt to recreate the greats.good luck!
First listen......I like it a lot..... I also hear the "Hendrix/Zeppelin" flavor, especially Jimmy on vocals... not a bad thing, but when the vocals kick in they may be covering some of the music... (at first the vocals truly did sound like Jimmy, so it did throw me) I think EarCandyJar had good feedback with which I agree . One other idea for this particular song, would be to shorten it... most people are used to hearing 3 min.30 sec. song. I'll be listening again, but Good luck!!
1 - I'd try one version w/o vocals; I detect a Hendrix flavor in there, but ....
2 - as other(s) mentioned, the mixing needs some work: drums are on par with or in front of guitar & vocals. I'd back it up, unless drum solo;
3 - I need to re-listen but it seems at times the drums are disjointed from main tune (sloppy as someone else labeled it).
4 - as you listen, be your harshest critique, and try to stay original as much as possible. You only learn from your mistakes. G'luck & tks for asking.
thanks for sharing this with me, il tell you what i think for what its worth,
the licks are sloppy, it never works when you copy somebody else, i can hear some page riffs, and some meandering through the bottom notes of the pentatonic, but theres no form, try to work your way through your solo's to find that magic note that marks the chord changes you can learn that from simple 12 bar blues, at the moment your kinda lost for an anchor to any kind of melody, i like the sound and intention :)
I subscribe to the Carlos Santana school of thought on guitar solo's say what you need to say and get out---you say too much--no one has that much to say in one song--other then that, it's good.
Very Bluesy. very good guitar, the drumming (great drumming) is very lucid and the sound of the guitar should be at least as prominent. The (very good) guitar playing is reminiscent of a lot of good players/styles but it never lets up for a second. It's like the song was made around the guitar part. I know this is rock and roll but silence can be golden. Many great guitar parts didn't play in a space for every single note, some dramatic silences and reentries could make this a lot better.
Not bad, i thought the guitar lacked just the tiniest bit of presence, it sort of gets lost in the solos being behind the drums, and being a vocalist myself I thought the singing lacked some strength and definitely didn't do what it should do for the song.
some of the gutair parts sounded funky like they didnt blend well blend the parts to gether and tell the drummer good job i am a drummer myself still learning set but I am in that marching percussion stuff which is really fun. My friend Jose would be the man to go to about the guitar and Jared for the drums. All in all sounding good!
Definitley diggin the sound, but the one thing that seemed to be missing was a real main riff. The guitar seemed to be wandering during the verses. However, the guitar playing by itself is great especially the solos. Very blusey hendrixish. thumbs up!
The vocals in particular has a Hendrix feeling to it. I really enjoy this song, and I don't have any particular vindictive complaints. I think the poster before me commenting about how some pauses would have been nice is correct: by having a few pauses or lower pitch periods even, it could have made the song a lot harder hitting. otherwise..on the whole I've enjoyed it.
very good start. May I suggest you add a bass guitar and use a wider range of notes in your guitar playing? I really love this style of music, your guitar sound makes me think Hendrix somehow, I think that's a big compliment :-)
Ok dude,it's sound good, your solo are nice and so do the sung part i'm agree on fact that ,without bas it's sound very nice !! i can heard some Led Zep an Kravits influence....
pretty cool. i like what u guys got going on here. but like everybody else has said, u need a bass. nothing flashy, but just a nice simple rhythm to back u up. and using the bass to signal transitions can be alot more subtle than a roll across the drums. but everything works. u guys are only missing one element. maybe try bringing down the treble just a bit when recording too. the cymbals override the rest of the drumming a little.
Dude, I honestly can't believe what I'm hearing. You all ROCK! That was some of the best guitar playing I've heard in a while. ( Minus glancing through any Hendrix, Zeppelin, SRV, RHCP videos.) The drummer did spectacular as well, excellent tempo, nothing over-the-top. Singing was killer, has a classic rock feel to it, as you stated. But, I'm going to have to agree with some other youtubers on here man, it needs a BASE! You need it to keep the rhythm going man. On that note, rock on man!
we musicians are sometimes a pretentious bunch and sometimes forget that music is among other things show biz. youtube is really for videos. you have made a audio and if your goal was a classic rock sound you have accomplished that but with a little effort you could have put some kind of video together. i understand the temptation to let the music stand on its own and it is ultimately up to you to diecide . nice sound -- good luck.
First of all if you are doing a review on this remember there are no effects used sounds like a basic recording, i think iam pretty good on this era music and have played it for a living, so first of all the drummer was great and kept it right on the feel with no bull shit , guitar and feels very good again no effects , singer good also sounded like that era. needs to practice more on that style of vocal , and also no bass, so really good job , with bass and effects it would really blast .
You are very good, but you have to practice a little more to become as big as you want to. Good guitar playing by the way, in my ears it sounded just a little bit lik Hendrix. And you singer, I thought it was Hendrix that sang at the beginning of the song. Good luck!
love it...now ive a friend who plays the circuit and hes shit hot.he covers hendrix, gary moore and clapton to name but a few.he has that husky voice too.his name is johnny hyde.id be more impressed if there was a vid to this.
I'll give you some advice: Do not take inspiration from anyone, do not copy anyone, do not look up to anyone. You already know how to play pretty good, now look at your instrument and play what your heart, your soul asks you to play.
Play yourself.
You aren't going to be great if you play exactly like someone else. What makes a good band is the way in which they are unique, the way only them transmit their feelings. Innovate. Be different.
@jevimetal13 Agree 100%. Its good that young dudes have a respect for classic Rock Artists from my day but there is a very real danger of molding oneself to rigidly using some kind of Rock Formula Algorithm. This happen a lot to young musicians today because, rather than being influenced or inspired by a classic Artist, they straight out just COPY them! Great Art is ALWAYS about a UNIQUE, GENUINE, SINCERE demonstration & expression of the Artists craft. Most today just wanna try and look cool.
@boltonox I know, and when I listen to this song, all i can hear is Jimi Hendrix playing with Led Zeppelin, out sure is "good", but there are many musicians who can do it too.
@jevimetal13 Yep, most musicians that ive played with that can duplicate classic artists well, dont seem to be able to create music at all and those that can create dont duplicate very well. I guess there's a certain logic to that. AS long as you don't straight up just rip off a bands sound like that WolfMother did, im cool, but creating YOUR OWN sound is what Rock Music is really about were as Modern Pop/ Rap music is ALL about formulars. Its music for children, SIMPLE, REPETATIVE, SAME.
@boltonox Amen, today's music is made for simple teenager minds who will buy all of their marketing. The musical age we're living in is complete bullshit... In the 70's and 80's, great innovative rock music was the deal, they were the most recognized bands of the moment and they were everywhere on the radio and the MTV. What's on the radio today? Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry. What's on MTV? Pregnant teenagers and old rock stars looking for a girlfriend.
"What does it take to make a great band?" i think not to copy zeppelin floyd just make something new try to be yourself and if u do music only to be a great band stop it. for me message is more important than shape. and think if u really believe what u sing about. btw very nice music :)
The drums and guitar went good together. The sound of the guitar is amazing. The vocals could be kick ass with some practice or training or something. but it sounds awesome...way better than the fake rock shit out today
Like the mix! Interesting vocals, also agree with 'smiley 261963" Hendrix meets Page but with heavy backing by Black Sabbath. Thanks for sending this.

jannevg 10 months ago
Hey thanks for sending me a link... it's not bad but i think the vocals could be stronger and the riffs could be more unique i guess, but i think you're on the right track anyways wish more people would attempt to recreate the greats.good luck!
EtchASketchOfDeath 10 months ago
First listen......I like it a lot..... I also hear the "Hendrix/Zeppelin" flavor, especially Jimmy on vocals... not a bad thing, but when the vocals kick in they may be covering some of the music... (at first the vocals truly did sound like Jimmy, so it did throw me) I think EarCandyJar had good feedback with which I agree . One other idea for this particular song, would be to shorten it... most people are used to hearing 3 min.30 sec. song. I'll be listening again, but Good luck!!

other vocals , or w/o vocals , needs more scratchy voice ;)
sandaleiko 10 months ago
1 - I'd try one version w/o vocals; I detect a Hendrix flavor in there, but ....
2 - as other(s) mentioned, the mixing needs some work: drums are on par with or in front of guitar & vocals. I'd back it up, unless drum solo;
3 - I need to re-listen but it seems at times the drums are disjointed from main tune (sloppy as someone else labeled it).
4 - as you listen, be your harshest critique, and try to stay original as much as possible. You only learn from your mistakes. G'luck & tks for asking.

thanks for sharing this with me, il tell you what i think for what its worth,
the licks are sloppy, it never works when you copy somebody else, i can hear some page riffs, and some meandering through the bottom notes of the pentatonic, but theres no form, try to work your way through your solo's to find that magic note that marks the chord changes you can learn that from simple 12 bar blues, at the moment your kinda lost for an anchor to any kind of melody, i like the sound and intention :)
paranorma1palace 10 months ago
I subscribe to the Carlos Santana school of thought on guitar solo's say what you need to say and get out---you say too much--no one has that much to say in one song--other then that, it's good.
Figure out what you need to say--and get out

Sounds like a Grand Funk Railroad demo recorded in a bathroom. Sorry.
govtmule1979 10 months ago
Very Bluesy. very good guitar, the drumming (great drumming) is very lucid and the sound of the guitar should be at least as prominent. The (very good) guitar playing is reminiscent of a lot of good players/styles but it never lets up for a second. It's like the song was made around the guitar part. I know this is rock and roll but silence can be golden. Many great guitar parts didn't play in a space for every single note, some dramatic silences and reentries could make this a lot better.
darkiansmith 10 months ago
Just let me add that if the vocals and guitar parts were treated as well in the mix as the drums, the whole song would be about 2/3 more effective.
darkiansmith 10 months ago
Not bad, i thought the guitar lacked just the tiniest bit of presence, it sort of gets lost in the solos being behind the drums, and being a vocalist myself I thought the singing lacked some strength and definitely didn't do what it should do for the song.

cant you make a list of the guitar solos in this video

check out our winter percussion show sorry bout the quality but um yea i wasn't in this one because of my stiches on my finger.
SantaFe5central 10 months ago
some of the gutair parts sounded funky like they didnt blend well blend the parts to gether and tell the drummer good job i am a drummer myself still learning set but I am in that marching percussion stuff which is really fun. My friend Jose would be the man to go to about the guitar and Jared for the drums. All in all sounding good!
SantaFe5central 10 months ago
Definitley diggin the sound, but the one thing that seemed to be missing was a real main riff. The guitar seemed to be wandering during the verses. However, the guitar playing by itself is great especially the solos. Very blusey hendrixish. thumbs up!
akser360 10 months ago
im diggin it bro :)
tacosconfuso 10 months ago
I only didn't appreciate the drums very much. They sound like the 80's usually predictable rock. But the rest is cool, in the 70's style. (imho)
efex2007 10 months ago
The vocals in particular has a Hendrix feeling to it. I really enjoy this song, and I don't have any particular vindictive complaints. I think the poster before me commenting about how some pauses would have been nice is correct: by having a few pauses or lower pitch periods even, it could have made the song a lot harder hitting. otherwise..on the whole I've enjoyed it.
rocknrollmustlive 10 months ago
Very good blues mate, though could I say it would make an even greater impact if there were little pauses in the thick of it !!!!! Cheers

Nice try , close to Black keys/Radio Moscow.
Kibelmoralny 10 months ago
very good start. May I suggest you add a bass guitar and use a wider range of notes in your guitar playing? I really love this style of music, your guitar sound makes me think Hendrix somehow, I think that's a big compliment :-)
KHFREAK999 10 months ago
Nice job. Listening to this makes me feel relaxed. The blues part is best at all, you can even compare it to BB King.

Ok dude,it's sound good, your solo are nice and so do the sung part i'm agree on fact that ,without bas it's sound very nice !! i can heard some Led Zep an Kravits influence....
it's very nice dude ,walk this way !!!

im liking it reminds me of zeppelin .... it sounds good without the bass , just my opinion.
HardRockRecords 10 months ago
pretty cool. i like what u guys got going on here. but like everybody else has said, u need a bass. nothing flashy, but just a nice simple rhythm to back u up. and using the bass to signal transitions can be alot more subtle than a roll across the drums. but everything works. u guys are only missing one element. maybe try bringing down the treble just a bit when recording too. the cymbals override the rest of the drumming a little.
skaterpunkdude3 10 months ago
you're forgetting the BASS-ics!
Slagdar 10 months ago
Why no bass? It sounds empty without it. seeing how this is from 2009, I trust you have improved since then....time to check it out

Wow, that really IS good. Don't change your style too much, you sound vintage now, and that's a feature, not a bug.
naczelny1 10 months ago

It sounds good. Make this your demo and record this again to make it sound even more better!
Boganator4 10 months ago
First of all if you are doing a review on this remember there are no effects used sounds like a basic recording, i think iam pretty good on this era music and have played it for a living, so first of all the drummer was great and kept it right on the feel with no bull shit , guitar and feels very good again no effects , singer good also sounded like that era. needs to practice more on that style of vocal , and also no bass, so really good job , with bass and effects it would really blast .
jazzysnaps 10 months ago
pretty nice :) and I heared the Zeppelin guitar ;) but the singer need some practice

You are very good, but you have to practice a little more to become as big as you want to. Good guitar playing by the way, in my ears it sounded just a little bit lik Hendrix. And you singer, I thought it was Hendrix that sang at the beginning of the song. Good luck!

When you learn that, you'll be great.
jevimetal13 10 months ago
@jevimetal13 Agree 100%. Its good that young dudes have a respect for classic Rock Artists from my day but there is a very real danger of molding oneself to rigidly using some kind of Rock Formula Algorithm. This happen a lot to young musicians today because, rather than being influenced or inspired by a classic Artist, they straight out just COPY them! Great Art is ALWAYS about a UNIQUE, GENUINE, SINCERE demonstration & expression of the Artists craft. Most today just wanna try and look cool.
boltonox 10 months ago
@boltonox I know, and when I listen to this song, all i can hear is Jimi Hendrix playing with Led Zeppelin, out sure is "good", but there are many musicians who can do it too.
jevimetal13 10 months ago
@jevimetal13 Yep, most musicians that ive played with that can duplicate classic artists well, dont seem to be able to create music at all and those that can create dont duplicate very well. I guess there's a certain logic to that. AS long as you don't straight up just rip off a bands sound like that WolfMother did, im cool, but creating YOUR OWN sound is what Rock Music is really about were as Modern Pop/ Rap music is ALL about formulars. Its music for children, SIMPLE, REPETATIVE, SAME.
boltonox 9 months ago
@boltonox Amen, today's music is made for simple teenager minds who will buy all of their marketing. The musical age we're living in is complete bullshit... In the 70's and 80's, great innovative rock music was the deal, they were the most recognized bands of the moment and they were everywhere on the radio and the MTV. What's on the radio today? Lady Gaga, Black Eyed Peas, Katy Perry. What's on MTV? Pregnant teenagers and old rock stars looking for a girlfriend.
jevimetal13 9 months ago
Nice drumming, nice opening riff, way to much guitar solo for my taste, needs a bass! overall 6/10:)
Dohdk 10 months ago
"What does it take to make a great band?" i think not to copy zeppelin floyd just make something new try to be yourself and if u do music only to be a great band stop it. for me message is more important than shape. and think if u really believe what u sing about. btw very nice music :)

The drums and guitar went good together. The sound of the guitar is amazing. The vocals could be kick ass with some practice or training or something. but it sounds awesome...way better than the fake rock shit out today
