One thing I dont like bout most of these driving set ups is that you cant heal-and-toe. It much easier to just use left foot breaking on these set-ups. In my opinion

the only gripe i have is that theres no cluch and no sequential gear box system like the Logitech Equivilants as far as Steering is concerned. The play seat itself, is cool. But i am stuck using my Xbox Controller for Forza and Shift because I like to use manual gear shifting, and flappy paddles would destroy the experience for me.

Hi, I like your review, but I have one question about that chair. In fact, I am going to get one (not limited edition though, but I guess they are same) and after seeing your video I've got some doubts about its sturdiness. In the video, when you were showing how firmly the wheel is mounted to it by pulling it around, I was surprised seeing the structure is quite flexible. So my question is, don't you find it too "bendable/twistable " during some intense racing?

Are you looking at the other Playseats? I like the white one.

As far as the rigidity, you will be fine. The structure is quite thick, of course the wheel isn't attached to a dash like a real car, but it is firm. I have never encountered a time while steering that I thought the seat was flimsy, no matter how spaz-stic I was.

The wheel holder goes in between your legs, so it forces you to two foot drive - one foot on the gas and one on the brake. This is not as immersive as it is foolish.

i drive with one foot. its realy no problem driving also with one foot. dont think that you cant reach the break with right foot, its no problem.

after i got that seat and after i drove a few days i wonder why some people make such a big thing about that :) ive no problem. its possible to fix the pedalplate more left or more right also, but its absolutly not nessaserry.

im so impressed about that seat and how my racinggames feel now.

oh ok, may i was to fast with my answer ;)

i forgot that this review is about the microsoft pedals. i use the clubsport pedals from fanatec. my pedals have 3 pedals (cluth), so my brakepadle is in middle and better reachable with right foot. so, in case of microsoft pedals, you could be right, breakpadle is to much left.

if you buy a seat like that (wheelholder is between your feet, i recomment padles like fanatecs clubsport pedals. than driving with one foot is no thing.)

The lower support doesn't obstruct your right foot.

You have no clutch or H-pattern shifter, that can't take full advantage of Forza's capabilities. The Fanatec 911 Turbo S wheel is the only one to choose from that supports the above and Xbox 360

get that with,

the OBUTTO cockpit (frame, seat, pedal, steering, stick, mount) is 259 dollars!. seems to be the best deal by far, InsideSimRacing said it was good. It also has triple screen mount, keyboard and mouse surface, flight stick mount, desk surface, etc for extra.

Great vid and review buddy. I have the playseat evolution and this FM3 version in black looks awesome.

Awesome tv, how the hell you play with that huge thing, i use a 32" lcd and that alone burns my retnas out!!

I highly rate the playseat cockpit, as this vid demonstrates it really puts you in the drivers seat and changes the dimension of racing completely.
