Now that im 32 years with 3 kids at home. Me and the wife were a huge part of the scene in the midwest during the glory days. Then we just stoped going. Recently i realized i was missing something huge in my life. So we went to a rave in Chicago

and i was thanked so many times by the kids for makeing the scene again. I felt as if i was welcomed home. It felt right and so good to see so many smileing faces. I will never forget it again. Its been 9 years ! PLUR !

Everything has a pulse if you shut off your mind and open your ears. If you want to dig deeper then that i wouild say that pluse comes from the earth energy its self Or anything that has a heartbeat. Digweed understands this principle and orchestrates sound to move and connect humans. The tools of a great modern day composer.

Where were our teachers guides mentors during that scene. Thats one of the reasons it died because we had to figure it out on our own. We may have been connected but we only had the music, drugs, vibes to show us how and not elders. It was a good and beautiful thing too good to just throw it all away.

I just watched groove again the other night. hadn't seen it in years. The music is still pretty cool, but the hippies... The tickle-me-elmos backpacks and the clown pants... that reminds me why I didn't keep going to raves, but the movie (and the DJs) are still great, because they accurately sum up the whole rave experience in a nutshell. The best music in the movie is still bedrock/heaven scent. Love how it's stayed fresh.

I am pretty certain Digweed owned Bedrock back then (and probably still does), I think it was his project label to try and bring new producers in. I say this because there was a website still up in 2001 that had lots of different artists on it , but Digweed was the main guy. There was a CD out like ten years ago that also contained a bunch of people that Digweed brought in. He also uses the name as a title for his albums with Bedrock being the first one with Heaven Scent on it.
