Hi YunnmyBeatsClips- got the ShortCircuit working in FL9 - how ever can only get the Drums to respond to the keys on the USB midi keyboard, cannot get other patches like Sybth to play? Any help?
@Faiman1000 Did you use one ShortCircuit sampler for all instruments? Because if you did so every instrument patch you load into the SC sampler gets an own midi channel. Maybe your keyboard only sends on channel 1 or you didn't set your new midi track to channel 2 or 3 (..)?! Maybe that's the problem?
At best just use or open one extra ShortCircuit for every single Instrument. You are also able to better control your mix then because every instrument also gets its own audio channel.

Works fine, Thank you for your help.
Finally Please don't ever stop doing what your doing – your work is awe-inspiring . I am off to the Yummy Beats shop to make my purchase!
@Faiman1000 Thx, all files or samples are in wav, 16 Bit, 44,1kHz. They are already mapped and layered for the free ShortCircuit Sampler. Preset files included (read more at yummybeats[dot]com) So once you have installed this Sampler you can use the instruments within FL Studio like any other instrument.
You can also use any other sampler, of course. But you'll have to map and layer all samples on your own then.
also i recently started using cubase 5 how would i use these sounds with it? cubase 5 plus my m3 and sounds from u guys i will be unstoppable mwaahahahaha lol
@BigStacks18 Just download the shortcircuit sampler (only for Windows) and load the patches within the hip hop instruments pack. You can also watch our setup video at youtube.com/watch?v=H3cXU5rMPco
hey man i've been making beats for almost a year now i have cubase 5 also which im learning since i started from fl studio but now it was time to move up to the next level and so far what i see with cubase is that i love it!. But what was gonna ask you is how can you learn paino i wanna make beats like that but since im also learnin the keys i cant find the right dvd on teaching piano. if you know anything that could help me with the keys really good, feel free to tell me. thanks n nice beat
I relly would recommend you to take real piano lessons at least for one or two years. Because you need to learn some basic techniques which you can't learn only from DVD or so. I never took real lessons but now I wish I did since I am far away from beeing a good piano player.
But I can look for some tutorials soon if you don't wanna take lessons (just remind me again) You can also search for "fingering piano" in youtube for example.
@xXKonvictMuzikXx just search for free piano lessons, there are tons of sites that give free info. and just follow a few lessons on here. Once you learn the system(notes create chords creates patterns creates songs) learn the basic major/minor and your good.
Logic is only available for mac. Both have advantages and disadvantages. I prefer cubase more of course because it was a long time ago I used Logic the last time. I would compare the plugins and the additional hardware controler you can buy. Also have a look at the mediabay from cubase (very time saving). But both DAWs are good for making professional music and mixes (with the right plugins of course)
i have always made beat with fl studio .. everyone tells me use cubase.. why????? what is difference between them??? they both got the same progams and fl studio is easy er to use .. please give me good reason to use cubase .. couse i wanna know???
Please do not make double posts. I have removed your other posts again, thx.
You should use the program you can work with best. But I would claim if you get used to cubase you would also benefit from a much better work flow. It takes always time until you get used to new software.
Furthermore Cubase is industry standard and has a much better audio engine. With cubase u can also make professional mixes like on a hardware console. With fl studio I think it is not possible this way?!
sorry to doubleposting you.. couse some of youtube users never answers back.. anyway .. yeah fl studio does that too.. and i know A LOT of fl studio .. i know the hole software ..i saw one of yourbeats makin in fl studio .. that s why im asking you.. i think you started with fl studio too .. so why did you change it to cubase.. does it something else then fl can??? i hope you understand my quastien!!!
Oh, sorry that you got this impression because I did not all the videos myself. To be honest I never worked with FL studio seriously. I just know a few basics. In fact, when I started making music there even was no FL studio at all :-) But when you look at professional studios / producer teams etc you'll never find FL Studio. I'm really sure about that. Protools is used the most (especially in the USA). Then Cubase and Logic. However music doesn't come only from the software. It is only a tool!
oh allright , you know what thank you very very much.. and i have got to tell ya that your music is great .. you got your own style .. very good .. thanks a lot again!!!!! and good luck with everything!!!
Kind of. Cubase is a DAW software with a much different work flow compared to FL Studio. Cubase is one of the industry standard tools for professional music productions, next to ProTools, Logic, Nuendo...
ne frage zu den bongos. du hast die bongos als loop in deinem kit dass du vorher reinlädts und dann über eine notentaste abspielen lässt, versteh ich das richtig?
I think there is no better or worse. Both programs have advantages and disadvantages. It depends on your personal work flow. For example I think logic has a much better GUI which is good for the work flow. Therefore cubase has the mediabay which helps you to find the right sounds, preset files etc via tags in seconds. And of course you can always argue about PlugIns it's always personal taste. But I've to admit I am not so experienced with logic and don't know the features of version 9.
Depends on you. If you want to have more an allround keyboard for example to be able to record fast drums (like hihats) you should take one with non-weighted keys. If you want to play ambitious or serious music like soul, blues, classic etc, you should rather take weighted keys with hammer mechanics for the real piano feeling. I have good experiences with master keyboards from doepfer (LMK2+ or LMK4+).
yummy. were can i download this man? i would really like to see if i can make a song to it. and il send it back to you. il give you credit for the whole production.

Yes,that's right. All the percussions are complete loops, loaded into the sampler. But normally you would use normal audio tracks for loops.
