wow has done alot for the mmo in genreal it has opened up mmo to the whole world with out wow im guessing AoC wouldnt have so many people not because they stole anything from wow but because wow really opened up the mmo series to the gaming world shut up both games rock and enjoy them

WoW really got the attention of alot of RTS player that followed Warcraft Series and alot of younger people attention, but MMO games have been already known world wide for long before than WoW.

P.S. Both games have their pros and cons.

Hmm he stoled mostly from alot of different games, UO, Shadowbane, Star Wars Galaxies, just to name a few, you can find alot of "similar" stuff between WoW and them, I'm really FAR from being a WoW Fan.

Problem is, now days games try to compete with WoW forcing them to copy alot of features (wich I dislike how WoW use most of them, making the game rather Boring and more like a Time-consuming Job that you even PAY them to do).

Wish AoC alot of good, it has a good potential.

lol wow isnt better then AoC... they only have more players cause shity wow has been on the market over 3-4 years.. 10.7 milj players

AoC had on the first day over 400.000 account sold and now they have 2.5milj players .. on 2weeks. They have better pvp system and more balanced so far.

Actually if you like aoe... AoC might be good for you. heals are cone based, damage spells hit whats in their path not just a target, same with melee.

and this is alot more realistic and in tune with the foundations of MMos, ALL classes will be DPS classes, and ALL will be able to fill at least one of the 5 slots in groups

Case anyone on here is an Conan fan and has read his stories (if not, and your interested, I HIGHLY recommend the 3 book Del Ray Series, starting with 'The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian.')

These mobs are the same as the ones Conan faces in Pool of the Black Ones. In fact, in this video this player is IN that same ruin. The actual pool is in the game.

Your an idiot blob, there has been many similar yellow question mark/exclamation point symbols to represent quests BEFOORE WoW. In fact, WoW was not first when it comes to anything really, they just took ideas from previous MMOs.
