Sorry, I don't know much about that model. Was it one of the early pre Gitane Selmer copies that Saga made? I believe those were made in Japan but were lacking many critical elements of the Selmer design. Essentially flatops made to look like Selmers.
It plays OK out of the box but needs a fret level and a better setup to sound and play its best. This is generally true with most Asian guitars. This is a nice guitar to start with although many people prefer the less expensive Cigano GJ-10 as it's louder and more traditional sounding.
How does it play? Is there any fret buzz? And overall is it a good guitar? Great playing btw, im just getting in to gypsy jazz and im diggin it and i wanna get one like Django played. Thank you..
This guitar sounds the same as my Saga BM-100S. Do you have some information about the Saga BM-100S ?
