  • you sound like my russian friend who tries to do a english accent lol

  • I wish yanks would realize there's no such thing as a British accent.

  • @SoulfulLova Yeah, but I wish people from the UK would realize we don't all sound like southerners.

  • you just have an Australian accent. just saying.

  • Sorry but you haven't caught on with a English accent. This is terrible.

I'm pretty sure that your parents didn't have a English accent, and you might have English HERITAGE! That doesn't mean your family has an ACCENT though...

  • 'harry podder'

that is what youu sound like.

    'harry poTTer'

that is how we say it.

  • i didnt actually watch your video, LOL, im just commenting because all the americans think we are poshknobs and go round eating cream cakes, on the top of a red bus and wearing waistcoats. i eat gum, on a one-floored blue bus wearing high waisted shorts and heels?

THERE IS MORE THAN ONE ACCENT HON.

    essex accent,

    cornish accent,

    northen accent,

    east london accent,

    south kensington accent,

suffolk accent and i could go on and on and on and on.....

  • started of good then slipped to american at times some australian to. why do people always flatten the letters in the words when tryna do it hehe :P

  • fuckk me!!! im from stoke, and sound nothin like a southener! or fuckin anywhere else for that matter! ...fuckin sick of these yanks man

But yah.. was not too bad... sounded kinda like... London, rather upper class=P

  • That was alright actually, london posh

  • now you could audition for Oliver Twist xD

  • This is funny :P

I can't do a good British acdent either!!

  • What the hell is a 'British' accent? Between Cornwall and Glasgow they can barely understand each other. And T between vowels in Britain is either pronounced as T or dropped, never pronounced as D!

  • you sound australian

  • that soundss good (Y) but slightly austrailian ! :D

  • Lol at you trying to say Harry Potter in a British accent. xD

  • That's actually really good :)

Especially the first few sentences - you could slightly pass for being English then :D

After that you went slightly Australian hehe

  • pretty good

  • love your eyes but beside that keep trying lol

  • thats reaaalllyyyy good :D yo sound slightly Austrailian :D

  • Personally I find many American accents to be quite sexy, especially the Texas accent, :D

  • no offence you can say certain word right but we dont speak like the queen and not posh !us british speak normal!!!

  • pussy are fuckin accents are straight gutta ruff as fuck makes your rappers from the us sound like sissy boys are uk rappers sound proper ghetto street so fuck off im english so shut up

  • Cool! So you and your family lived in the United States since your move from the United Kingdom, eh? Cool. BTW, how long have you and your family live in the States? Hope you become American citizens in the future. Welcome to the UNited States of America. May it and the United Kingdom remain allies forever in war and peace.

  • "a couple things" is totally yank... should be "a couple of things".

British people certainly don't say "British accent" - there is no such thing. It's really an English accent from the south east of England. There are hundreds of completely different accents in England as I'm sure you know.

btw, you don't sound at all Aussie like some people have mentioned.

    ;)

  • The "tt" in Potter - either go for the glottal stop (difficult to do properly, you did it quite well) or the regular "t" sound (more posh). If you say it like a soft "d", you sound yank.

However, you must be consistent throughout, otherwise you will be sussed!

Other than that, you could quite easily pass yourself off as an English lass!

    ;)

  • thats an aussie accent

  • terrible not all us brits are fuckin posh

  • hardly any are posh

  • Theres no such thing as a british accent, britain contains three different countries, england scotland and wales, the thing that americans do not realise is all these videoes they are making are of ENGLISH accents, not british

  • it didn't sound british at all............!

it's more closer to the aussie accent!!!!!!

  • Sorry matey, but it doesn't sound Aussie at all! (except maybe the when she tries to say "Harry Potter the first time).

Thank God it's not like a Phillipine accent!

No offense, but I think that is probably the ugliest accent in the world (while speaking English, I mean). For example, Gloria Arroyo should be forced to have her vocal chords removed! I have to dive for the mute button on the TV whenever she comes on!!

Has she got a "normal" voice when she speaks filipino? (serious question)

  • my grandpa is from the philippines.

  • Hi xxRunAwayWithMexx,

Ask your grandpa to tell you about horse-fighting in the Philippines.

  • o...kay? haha

  • thats pretty good!

    some words sound australian.

    lol:P

    but one tip..

    we dont talk posh!

  • harry potter?......jane austin movies?....yeh cuz thats how people in the uk talk...what a twat. how did this thing about it being called a BRITISH accent come from? as many have said earlier, theres no such thing!!!! cant you get your head round it.....well you are american, ill cut you some slack

  • sounds more ausy than British !

  • I love you, mate. Haha

  • Ya duz nee know what yeez takin aboot pet!!

Yuz needs sum Newcastle Broon ale doon ya canny lass!!

  • No, if I`d have listened to this lass without the title "Attempt at British.." I`d have thought she was British, no matter where in the world I`d heard her.

  • the last 2 "harry po-a" was pri--y good most of us dont do T's you have a good glottal stop (the understased grunt instead of a T)

BU--A =BUTTER and stunt your vowels, no- bad tho!!

  • There is no BRITISH Accent

there are about 70 different accents in the uk

    maybe more

  • exactly. a scottish accent is completely different to a londoner's accent (which is what everyone does when doing a 'british' accent)

  • yea the glasgow accent is a hard one :d lol and im from scotland but every city has a diffrent accent in scotland and supposedly mine is sexy :-s

  • freaky stupid bullshit!!!!

  • This is pretty good!!!

    :D

i might leave a response with me speaking with the real british accent, and attempting an american :L

  • your pronounced "accent" as "ohk-cent"

i think it should be "Ack-cent"

  • Are you lot serious?? This bird is English!!! She isn't American at all - whats wrong with yous??? But with the rising intonations at the end of every sentence (THIS ONE TIME AT BAND CAMP!!!) and all the "likes" and "oh my gods" she might as well be a yank. This young lady is a prime example of the current state of British English, I mean flipping hell!!! We don't even talk like us anymore!!. British English is fucked. Shame.

  • u lost it wen u say jane austen and harry potter

ahaha i luv it wen ppl try to impersonate us its like
