Oh, I know this. This is from one of the older Doctor Who series. Wasn't this the 5th Doctor's opening, or something like that? So you took that opening, edited the graphics and made it so resemble the 12th Doctor's? Interesting.

i love this its better than that funnel cloud lightning vortex striking the tardis intro, the music needs to be updated though and i hope to god they consider placing matt smiths face in the intro like they used to do in the classic series that would be brilliant!

i think they might use this for the 12th doctor the vortex effect will be right if you add the tardis and some turns to it above all make the opening titles gold in colour insted of stone grey

I considered it but decided against it. ultimately I wanted to pay homage to the older style of titles which didn't show the TARDIS usually. I did actually consider using one in the manner of the Baker titles I took the music from but I couldn't get a static image of the TARDIS to look the same way it did in the old intros, at least not on the time scale I was working on, restricted myself to eight hours before getting back to real work.

Bu't I hate the face', it was way too cheesy, and it would look even worse in a modern opening.

God help us, the face is the one thing I despise when it came to the classic series. Quite a number of fans say it's way too cheesy, to be honest.

Excellent! Moffat is planning to redesign the title sequence for Series 5 so that it used Matt's face (like the traditional openings) and also Murray Gold is doing a new version of the title theme.
