I have this. Yes, I can use Facebook, MySpace, check my yahoo,hotmail and gmail accounts. Its an ok basic tablet. Wish it had flash. And the lack of apps really sucks.
This tablet just sucks no matter what you do as far as upgrading it I did not like the build quality it was cheap and very poor I no longer have this tablet cause I dropped it just from bed on to a rug and it came completely apart My ipad and Kindle fire are both more rugged than this pan image tablet.
@mschwartzeee1 I have not been able to, I don't think it is even available , this tablet does not have the full android market just a very strip down app store with apps that you will never use and some don't work.
@mschwartzeee1 Conduct a Google search for HoneyComb V9 for PanImage Build WMT216 (should give you a link to a forum named Android Tablet Zone). If you download the custom firmware from the link that the thread creator provides, you put that "Script" folder onto a MicroSD card via your PC, place the card with the file on it into the tablet's MicroSD slot, then boot the device. It will auto upgrade the firmware to one that works MUCH better than the one PanImage included.

If you are stil looking for a YouTube app, try youtubeV13 apk. from Mediafire website.
Google search " youtube v13 apk mediafire " and you are set.
You can directly download it straight from your tablet.
Although some vids will need to be selected a few times before it will properly load and play because of the unit being an Android 1.6 and is not supposed to play Flash, it still will work pretty good.

A "My 1st Tablet" if you want al the extra bels and whistles like video chatting your best bet is to go for an ipad.. I understand that most common day people can't afford one right now, but if you really want to do this go with an ipad..

@gtmassivecoolie This tablet does not do very much this app will not work well on this device The Pan image tablet is very low end most popular apps will not work well I don't think this device is up gradable. I don't have this tablet anymore I returned it. I recommend that you get a galaxy tab by samsung or an ipad if you are look for a low cost alternative the Kindle fire is your next bet.
@gtmassivecoolie I just got this tablet, and was able to install Xiaa Live Lite. I found it by doing a search on "android .apk downloads". I can't remember the site because I've deleted all the cache on the browser.
Panimage runs Android 1.6 version which is absolute junk. 80% of new apps will not work on this version of Android (Linux mobile), which is outdated and unstable. Unless you're running Android 3.1 or higher, you're wasting your money. My smart phone runs Android 2.1 and I'm running into problems with new apps not being able to run. Android 3.0 had issues with instability, which was resolved in beta version, 3.1 My new tablet Acer is 3.2 version which is flawless. Don't waste your money.
I wish I had seen it before purchasing a panimage. Does anyone know how to get a number to return a product to 1 sale a day? The number on the shipping box does not work for me.
Thanks for sacrificing $59.00 and doing this. Saw it on 1saleaday and was briefly tempted since we are constantly fight over our Ipad2.... I see this will not make a cheap substitute to pass off to the kids!
@D33Lux Yes Be ware of cheap tablets and unknown brands cheap price does not mean that you are saving you get what you pay for when it comes to shopping for tablets. Spend the extra dollars and get a good tablet like the New kindle fire, or the samsung galaxy, HP Touch pad and above all the ipad.
@bluetech7753 I just picked up this tablet for 50 bucks new for my husband who is overseas. I figured this would be a good little machine for him to view videos, facebook, check email and listen to music when he is able to access internet. Does this tablet charge via usb? He has a solar charging panel he uses to charge his ipod since he does not often have a wall outlet to charge with, being in the middle of the desert. I chose this tablet being that it was so cheap I don't care if it breaks.

Your review doesn't mention memory size and expandability options or Video capture/playing quality, screen resolution size. Yiu mentioned you have a second browser (dolphin, I believe) but you didn't say how easy it was to install.
@ebax1178 Memory size is 2 gigs shared, not how much is left after the os and apps. If I were you I would pass on this tablet and get a Galaxy or an hp palm woth android 3.
@bluetech7753 hp palm? The only tablet HP made using Palm technology was the HP Touchpad... and it failed so hard they had to sell them off at $99. And it did not have Android, it has Web OS. Hey, if you want a GOOD tablet, I suggest the Acer Iconia Tab A500.
@ichoose2bhappy You can get the kindle app frin the so called andriod market although the market on this device is not the real android market that you find on phones . it is ideal for checking your e mail but very limited on most other things you can do. It will not be better then the ipad or other tablets.

@32cdl You have to buy a micro SD with an adaptor card this thing is so cheap you can not sync it like an ipad and just use the card reader on your computer if you don't have a card reader on your computer you can buy a usb SD reader a your electronic store. Be very careful when inserting the card into the tablet make sure it is aligned properly or it will go in too far and get stuck there will be not way to get it out. I hat to say it but the design quality is very bad.
@bluetech7753 Personally, I think the wavy lines and the camera trying to follow the box takes away attention in the video. Don't get me wrong, you did a great video. But, I do like watching steady shots during reviews. Cheers

i got one from qvc during the black Friday sale and it was awful i charged it for four hours and it wouldn't work unless on the charger and i sent it back last month and have not gotten my money back.

@chikisgirl19 No you don't need to buy a micro SD card to set up the tablet it should have just came on you might want to contact QVC or pamimage tech support. I recommend that you return it if you still can it is not that great of tablet the micro velocity tablet is better.

hey well i bought a panimage media tablet too from QVC but when i recieved it and i charged it as the instructions told me to, but when it was done charging i turned it on and all i could see was a blue screen that says "Panimage". so how do i set it up to get it to work? can you help me on that? or do i have to buy a Micro SD?.

@chikisgirl19 No you don't need to buy a micro SD card to set up the tablet it should have just came on you might want to contact QVC or pamimage tech support. I recommend that you return it if you still can it is not that great of tablet the micro velocity tablet is better.

Have you tried to use a bluetooth keyboard, and do you know if TalkBack will work on it?

@VideoGuyNC I tried a USB Keyboard and it works, This tablet does not have bluetooth. or 3g. Cheap tablets you get what you pay for. Talk back will not wiork.
