It sucks. I don't get them often but when I do, I break out and get like 10. Of course I pick/poke/pop and they get big and inflamed and puss filled. Which just makes them more fun to pick, resulting in them getting even bigger. I usually end up shaving my head and they clear up fast that way, not to mention I get some sick satisfaction out of the noise and feeling of my clippers sawing them off !

@mopoman0 yes, unfortunately they can. :( anywhere there is a pore, it is possible to get a pimple. it's just that some places are more prone to it than others. (usually the places that produce more oil)

i have scalp folliculitis for years , and now im on a drug called AKAMIN which is helping alot , sometimes i use a another thing on it called sigmacort ointment which kills the swelling and redness and lasts for over 2 weeks with one apllication well it does contain cortisone which is why its works best , but i have not tried dandruff shampoo yet , but i have been using goat soap on my scalp and its going really goood
@ilhwan7539 Lots of people experience hair loss as acne can cause scarring. This is why it is important never to touch acne on your scalp. Essential oils work wonders (when combimed and used with base oils such as Jojoba and Neem) in clearing up and controlling scalp acne. Olive oil is a big no no. Coal Tars are also not good for scalp acne so avoid T/Gel.

I never had them until I started working overnight security 2 years ago and I was drinking lots of Soda, with caffeine. it stopped once I started working days and not drinking 64 oz of soda every night. also in my experience, shorter hair is easier for them to be itchy. hope this helps you guys some. and the key is, Don't Itch them or pick them it WILL scar and your hair might not grow back.

I never had them until I started working overnight security 2 years ago and I was drinking lots of Soda, with caffeine. it stopped once I started working days and not drinking 64 oz of soda every night. also in my experience, shorter hair is easier for them to be itchy. hope this helps you guys some. and the key is, Don't Itch them or pick them it WILL scar and your hair might not grow back.
