  • @sexydiosa009 Do you not have ears or something??? Idiot.

  • @sexydiosa009 not as horribly as your mum sucks. she killed my boner

  • I saw Eddie live at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo in 1981. This is one of my all-time fovorite country songs.

  • Carrie knows when to use her powerful vocals and when not to. This is one of those occasion, where she was honoring Eddy by not using her powerful vocals at full strength. She has that much control natural, which many artists, don't.

  • wow....carrie is REALLY blonde...i just noticed xD

  • This is so dreary compared to the version by Timi Yuro, who belted this out with such emotion

  • @dylandollyspud this is a eulogy! and this is peaceful and gorgeous. what crazy person would BELT out this song??!

  • @ankatz Surely whoever sings this song does it in the way they feel is should be done?

The song is about someone who has done wrong to their lover, and is begging to be forgiven. If that doesn't warrant emtion, then what does?

  • the duck is dead! go away! go ahead! you can do it!

  • One word, man. TRIPOD. Damn this is shaky.

  • fantastic duet! make me cry every tiime!

  • love that country gentleman Brad is playin

  • chinton90: It is a nice Gibson, but isn't the original guitar that Chet Atkins used--the one Gretsch made--the one called the Country Gentleman?

  • Yes but Gibson came out with a Country Gentleman when Chet Atkins took his name and guitars to Gibson. Gretsch was bought out by I think Fender after the death of Fred Grestch.

  • chinton90: Oh--I never knew that Gibson called their version the Country Gentleman! I did know that Atkins started using Gibson for a while, but I believe he went back to Gretsch after using mainly Gibsons.

Of course, regardless of what brand he was using, Atkins was always great!
