I listen to Black Metal AND Unblack Metal alike. This genre needs more exposure, people are too afraid to purchase anything these days thats relevant at all towards God even if he may or may not exist, because they are too embarrased that they'll get insulted because of it. Dimmu Borgir I loved of Black Metal, because of the EXACT way they execute their music. I then found out they were of a Satanic nature, which upset me some. I'm trying to find the Unblack version of them, and I think I have.

@Weird0Productions Correct mang. I don't follow any God really, but the feeling that resides in me that one may exist sheds light on a fight inside me I've always had. Satanists and Athiests say none exists, and there's so much proof towards that. But theres' JUST enough proof that maybe, just maybe there really is one, whatever form he or she, or IT may come in. Being pulled in both directions hurt, I've reached the edge of screaming, but Black/Unblack metal does this for me.

@Svargedorath Lyrics are not always about what you believe in sometimes it's just to tell a story. For example Cannibal Corpse's lyrics are violent and brutal, it's kind of the song version of watching a gory horror movie.

@Dodo2896 many people enjoy this kind of music. you don't have to like it, but it is christian. i listen deep into the music and hear not only the language the vocalist is singing, but the message the music itself conveys. music is alive and it speaks and it cries out. this is very sad music. i feel that what this music is expressing is that the person who wrote it feels lost and wishes to be found by someone who will meet his emotional needs. that's jesus this music cries to.

Yes somepeople do go to god becuase of fear but when you preach you dont preach about "Your going to hell your gonna die sinner!" (Some do but they are stupid) you preach about the love of god the good news that Jesus died for you sins and made you perfect in the sight of God almighty. Um...no they don't. History tells us NOTHING at all about the existence of a god or gods{certainly not a "personal theistic" one or ones; a Deistic creator could be rationally argued for however}. They were written in more of a storybook way than as historical journalism[allmost as if the authors were possibly intentionally writing an allegorical story/fiction}.

There are indisputable facts to prove my great great granbdfathers existence. For one, and this should be obvious. I EXIST, and I know I have a fatgher and I know my father has a father and I therefore can logiccally conclude that my grandfather a dad and he a dad before him, because that's how people exist, a lineage.

Vaakevandring seem like an ok band, I've heard better christian black metal bands than them. Slechtvalk, Antestor, Crimson Moonlight, Sorrowstorm, etc.
But they are ok musically/vocally. Not the best.

Um...no they don't. History tells us NOTHING at all about the existence of a god or gods{certainly not a "personal theistic" one or ones; a Deistic creator could be rationally argued for however}. The historical Jesus is questionable, because there are no contemporrary historians and things written of this Jesus from his lifetime, only hearsay second/third hand stories recorded decades even centuries later.

As for Jesus, he may or may not have existed as a historical personage. It's hard to tell given what we have for evidence. But even if he did, that does not valify the myths and theology surrounding his legend and ascribed to him, nor does it valify the god of the bible, or the bible or christian faiths assertions about the nature of the universe and/or of a possible god.

There are indisputable facts to prove my great great granbdfathers existence. For one, and this should be obvious. I EXIST, and I know I have a fatgher and I know my father has a father and I therefore can logiccally conclude that my grandfather a dad and he a dad before him, because that's how people exist, a lineage.
Now as for my great X2 grandfathers name or info about him, we have documentations from different sources proving his and and other individuals of his times existence

I'm quite agnostic, though raised christian. I'm not religious much, but I still remember being little and asking God to come into me, even when I had doubt of existance.
