@TaintedMustard i think you will find it was due to France being a republic that your revolution was able to succeed as French ships kept the British from sending reinforcements. that is why you have the statue of liberty to show the union of the great republics and it was the French who became a republic 1st. yes they reverted back but in this time period they held more importance than the Americans in the world stage and where the 1st major power to become a republic. so French narrator

@theworldisyettobe Er, no. You're right that the French assisted in the fight against the British, but this had nothing to do with France helping out a fellow republic. It was still an absolute monarchy—Louis XVI's only real interest was in striking a blow against the British. France's own revolution only occurred after the USA was formed and the Constitution ratified. Yes, France was more powerful, but it wasn't the first.

But they've also had their share of shameful moments. The French Revolution can be counted among them, though much of the damage caused by it can be attributed primarily to a handful of men like Robespierre who let their newfound power corrupt whatever good intentions they may have had.

yeah, sort of. You need to complete the first 3 chapters/episodes, then you unlock chapter 4/grand campaign. This campaign is only 50 years, so not the full 100 years from the real grand campaign. You need to be quick with winning =).

ah thats common, try increasing the number of military forces in the settlement, if there is a school already built within the settlement tear it down and replace it with either an inn or a church.

usually the people will revolt due to clamor for reform. so tear down any schools they may have and replace them with inns to make them happy or churches to to make them happy and to convert them to your religion faster
