It's hard to focus with cross-eye, probably because it moves around so fast and all the green/browns don't really contrast and provide good focal points. Compression doesn't help, even static images are hard to see with JPEG lossiness sometimes. The caco vanishing into the distance however looks great! I should get myself some trendy retro red/blue glasses.
Actually, I found out that I got the left/right channels the wrong way round! Try putting it on "parallel" and crossing your eyes and you should have more success. Or use 3D glasses but wear them upside down :-)
I'm on an old computer and an old browser, so I don't have all the options available on this computer. (I assume it would look better on a widescreen monitor, too, so even at fullscreen, it wouldn't be so small.)
the player's weapon "sinks" into the picture while the rest of the demo is correct. Dunno if you can really *fix* that.

It's because the weapon stays in the same position for both eyes, which is the same as something far away.
I've been working on an updated version where the weapon sprite is offset to match the rest of the scene.

Haha yes, parallel with crosseye works alot better. I wonder how feasible this is as a real mod.

@fragglet You can also add &yt3dswap=1 to the URL to swap them

You need to upgrade to the latest version of Flash for it to work. Widescreen wouldn't make any difference if you're viewing it with 3D glasses.

Every time I try to update, it tells me it can't find the update, probably because I'm on ME.

Windows Me? Yikes! Get yourself a real OS :-)

Are you supposed to cross your eyes to get this to work? I'm not sure it's working for me.
KingKool2099 2 years ago
That's one way you can do it. You can select a 3D viewing style from the dropdown underneath the video. I'm using 3D glasses.
