  • You put an advert on this... You tasteless scum.

  • What a way to go, live a wild, passionate life, die quickly at 65. Where can I sign up? :)

  • Great chef, and an absolute geezer.

  • Keith Floyd Knew how to present and market himself and his product.People who had no interest in cooking or traveling were fascinated by him. What a life he lead! We should all raise a glass to Keith Floyd. Here's to you Keith!

  • @RichardElden

What a nasty piece of work you must be.

  • The best food presenter and inspirational cook I have ever seen. I remember seeing him cooking pork on my TV back in 1986 and I was riveted. I never would have watched TV cookery. He is unrivaled and a man who genuinely knew food and how to enjoy it. Tony Bourdain is the man who comes close but not close enough. Floyd was a one off - brilliant and fun. There won't be another. A raw and brilliant diamond of a human being who wore his faults on his sleeve & all the more appealing for that.

  • @RichardElden

No one desrves to die unless they are a cychopathic killer or worse. Floyd didn't deserve to die, alright he smoked to many fags and drank to many bottles, but it was what he wanted. Nobodies perfect, nobodies 100% like yourself. You have nothing to hate him for his programes were to inspire you enlighten you of what fun you can do with food. You have no reason to hope he died. DONT say such things like that unless you have a VERY good reason.

  • That guy had no ego! Never afraid to admit his limitation! No one knew him probably on here but that man seemed like a lovely guy who you could have a great laugh with? No need to say he deserves to die it's like saying you deserve to die having a few too many beers one night?

  • That guy had no ego! Never afraid to admit his limitation! No one knew him probably on here but that man seemed like a lovely guy who you could have a great laugh with?

  • What a pack of arse holes on here! Negative comments Ramsayhater seems like a nice person to know???????

  • @RichardElden what a sick statement off a lonely troll who begs attention with sick comments

  • @RichardElden I mean I didn't want him to die.

  • @RichardElden but i still don't think he had to die.

  • @RichardElden why??

  • KEITH WAS THE GREATEST.

    THE KING OF COOL

  • sucks that he died

  • Man when he was younger, he looks like a mixture of Liam Nesson and Gordon Ramsey.

  • The ego did him in.

  • well crap. I enjoyed his show. he always made me smile

  • Floyd on fish? more like Floyd on worms.

  • Miss you Floyd. Cheers to you wherever you are!

  • Such a shame. What a great man.

  • He was human. He had his flaws but don't we all.

I raise my glass (of 1er cru Bordeaux) to Keith Floyd.

  • RIP Keith Floyd ,The best celebrity chef in the world <3

  • And for all the horrible comments about him and his personal life personaly i dont care, he wanted to show us good cooking and show us how passionate he was about it and that is what he did best. Also he was alot better than all this reality tv show bolocks we have to watch now. RIP Floyd.

  • Kieth floyd was a talented cook, he made cooking fun and interesting. I found his programes funny, entertaining and I also learnt alot from his cooking. And ill always hold a glass upto floyd and have a slurp, cheers.

  • rest in piece keith the programmes always gave me so much pleasure to watch, a bit of history, culture, and cooking. not just boring cooking programmes like oliver, ramsey, wozzer etc they are all amateurs compared to you. money and celeb status counts for nothing in real world.

  • I always thought Keith Floyd was the Keith Richards of cooking. But I sure as hell wouldn't want a meal cooked by Keith Richards

  • @JuanMacready

lol. Laughably pathetic. I guess it takes one to think he knows one.

  • @ludocrat So glad Floyd was bankrupt and had terminal cancer when he died.

  • @JuanMacready

And what, precisely, is your point? These facts are common knowledge but do not in any way support your initial, throwaway, epsilon minus, needy, rather spiteful, earlier remark. "Loser," remember? He was no loser.

What, by the way, do you think you'll be remembered for? Being a failed smartass on the YouTube comments boards? Hmm. Floyd beats you and most other ordinary people (me definitely included) by a country mile, even in bankruptcy, extreme cups and yes, even in death. :D

  • @JuanMacready You will never even come close to him. Here's hoping YOU will never be cancer ridden. You really must be a sad and nasty and jealous piece of work saying something as horrible as this!

  • @OuKrokodil Jealous of a talentless alcoholic bankrupt fool who had undergone five major operations for cancer, plus chemotherapy? Nah.

  • A man who Lived his Life for the moment, enjoyed everything to excess, thought nought for others and took everything in his stride, a genuine one off and all the better for it. Even now much missed and in our thoughts

  • He was a fine man who left the world a better place. Very sad and he will be missed.

  • Marco Pierre White also said in his tribute, which for me says it all - "he lived his life beautifully" God I hope some says that about me someday!

  • RIP is a well wish, ajajtapa. Stop using it as an excuse to bash religion!

  • Whaaat, bash, excuses, what are you talking about, pew, such complex thoughts

  • @Frach438 Well said! RIP Keith Floyd!

  • "....300 C fokot nem sok baktérium él túl! Tehát dobjuk bele nyugodtan...."

    Kösz Keith !

  • I think he had a Humanist funeral.....not sure what a 'Humanist' is but i think they are a bit like Buddhists etc, anyway we miss you Keith you are a legend!

  • It's basically just a non-religious service.

  • Shambolic ?

    Artistic, creative imropmtu ...

  • Stop saying RIP you religious nuts, he was an atheist, he wouldn't appreciate it. He's gone, it's sad, but let's stop there.

  • R.I.P Keith Floyd, my your soul soar high in the sky with the eagles and the angels.

  • RIP RIP RIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • so sad that he died, only now heard about this ! RIP

  • RIP. I'll be drinking a nice Fleurie on you mister.

  • That's an elegant but really sad tribute.

  • from norwegian to asian to german to scandinavian to around the whole world cuisine, i zachary, salute you! thank you for your adventures and for tentalizing our palettes! may you rest. in. peace

  • Take care up there Keith; you have MILLIONS to feed - though they'll all no doubt admire you and your food. :)

  • A great Chef and an inspiration to me, probably many others too. He will be missed. I agree with his views on the new cookoin programmes on TV, most are utter rubbish. RIP Keith Floyd.

  • How lovely to have been on Earth at the same time as this Man... So Honest.... So different to the rubbish we see now...

  • He was such a wonderful character, very inspirational as he was passionate about what he did, and not at all pretentious as some of the more "classy" tv chefs/cooks. And -at least on camera- he didn't resort to abusing folks around him. RIP.

  • I've been knocking you Keith after watching channel 4.But as i'm an alki too i understand only too well about your illness.God bless you mate, happy day's, cheer's Bri

  • RiP Keith floyd.

  • rip mate.though I know your only in the next place..it's just a ride..

I loved watching your shows growing up, you inspired me to cook.... good food!

not only that you wasn't boring like most TV cooks... my kids eat well everyday, partly thanks to you.

    r_e_s_p_e_c_t.

though I know your only in the next place..

  • rest in peace keith floyd. you would have thought he would have died with a failed liver considering the amount he drank but i believe he died of cancer. he became bankrupt too

  • Keith Floyd , even though i never met you, to me you were my perfect man !

Loved your style , your intellect ,your wit and your charm . mXXXXXXX

  • I watched and recorded many of his "Floyd on France" episodes. It was almost a sacred time when I was watching Floyd. It took me back to trips in Europe and friends. It always was a special event to watch his program. I loved it and still do. It is truly a s sad passing.

RIP while you sip the angel's share!

  • Rest in Peace Keith Floyd. The day that saw your passing was the day that the Hearth went cold in the United Kingdom's Kitchen. You have been, and continue to be, the reason that I am proud to call myself a Gastronaught. I raise a glass to your life and incomparable ability to inspire. Your spirit lives on in countless admirers throughout the world! Bon voyage!

  • Oh and by the way Keith you big PissHead you! I'm having a drink for you now!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rest In Peace Sir!!!!!!!!!!

  • I'm so sad - Keith was a fantastic character and an irreverent inspiration, if you get what I mean!!! I have many of his books so he will surely live on here in my house!

  • a joy to watch. a true master. rip mr floyd

  • this is really sad RIP when i was little i always wanted to cook when he was on

  • ill raise my glass to keith r.i.p.

  • It's just so sad. I grew up watching him on TV. It's uncanny how much he changed the cookery programmes - by taking it out of the studio and on site. He was all about the fun in eating and travelling. He opened us all to everything seafood - including mussels and my favourites: sardines and mackerel. His tenacious wit was charming as it was thoughtful. Travel chefs like Anthony Bourdain owe a lot to Keith Floyd.

Where can I find his old DVDs? He'll be missed!

  • Never 'eard of 'im until this week. Interesting character. I like his style.

  • RIP mate, I'll be having a drink on you Keith, and you were local round are ends in Dorset. Legend.

  • Legend. Heaven has got another Michelin star

  • Man i loved his shows.R.I.P Floyd :(

  • Keith we will miss you.

  • I went to Phuket last week hoping to meet the legend but the staff at his restaurant said he'd been drinking too much and had to go to Spain to get it sorted. I hope he died drunk and happy! RIP & Chers

  • R.I.P. Mr. Floyd

  • respect he has earned...indeed....great life...enriched so many....rip...

  • Lots of good cooking going on in Heaven now!! Keith's joined the other two greats, Philip Harben and Fanny Cradock. Bless ya Keith!

  • legend. RIP Keith.

  • Keith Floyd was the Pink Floyd of cooking. He opened your mind beyond the mainstream conformist rubbish that he showed such obvious contempt for in the documentary last night. His Floyd on France & Italy series are priceless. See you at the bar Keith.

  • rip floyd i,m havin a drink for you mate

  • You're one of the best. Rest in peace.

  • i liked it when he said he took more from alcohol than alcohol took from him.

hope he died pissed rather than with a shitty hangover

as homer simpson said, alcohol is the cause of & solution to all the worls problems

  • Keith...we loved you and you will never be forgotten. You had talent, wit, a hilarious character and you were a true entertainer. RIP .Condolences to the family.

  • Bless you brother!

  • i hated cooking shows till my bro showed me floyd then i was hooked. shame on keith allen the cunt and his shitty cheap laughs at floyd on his shit program aired the day before he died....YOU CUNT!... fucking comedians!

  • I found the Keith Allen show fascinating but he should never have aired those final lunch scenes. If youll forgive the pun, they left a bad taste in the mouth! They were nothing short of character assassination. And this from a man who claims to count Keith Floyd amongst his heroes. Wanker!

Rest in peace, Mr. Floyd, I raise a glass of acceptable claret to you, sir!

  • Thanks for all the fun Keith, you'll be missed but never forgotten.

  • bigassballsyes-get back to ur CRACK PIPE,we have free speech, but its wasted on you . show some respect.

  • top man top chef ,cos he was the chief , true brit, sad loss

  • A philandering womanising alcoholic....Top man.

  • ANOTHER LEGEND GONE BUT NOT FORGOTEN

  • Sweet guy. Love the recipes, gonny do his beef in red wine tomorrow, just for him.

  • Keith Floyd was the king of tv cookery

  • origional and best, in a league of his own RIP

  • bigassballsyes - themselfs is actually themselves, haven't is in real life haven't and riddens - well only you will understand what expression of pointlessness you were attempting there. The worst of YouTube comes out with morons who have done nothing in life - whereas Keith Floyd did.

  • I loved to watch his shows.

  • Hey everyone, Bigasballeyes profile shows he is into aliens... say no more I hope he rots on Mars!!! Floyd was a unique cross between Fanny Cradock and Alan Whicker. And A big fan of the Stranglers like myself. God bless Keith..

  • bigassballssyes: Well said sir! Now roll off into the sewer where you belong, good man yourself.

Keith Floyd, the original, the master, the best. People can't hide themselves when on camera and for all his issues, Keith was a humourous, witty and warm individual..and he could cook up a storm too - Real Food, to be eaten not to be exhibited in the Louvre!

  • Bigassballseye, I would suggest you have far more issues that Mr Floyd ever had, what kind of person makes the comments you just have about a gentleman who passed away less than a day ago? Very odd indeed!

R.I.P. Keith, you may as the inarticulate, inappropriate and seemingly uneducated individual mentioned below have had your personal demons, but by hell you gave life your all and brought hours and hours of pleasure to millions like me to boot!! Fair play!

  • "Keith pioneered a new type of cookery program"

Yep, it was called cooking whilst being pissed

    RIP keith

  • So sad my Grandads favourite chef :( now there both gone shame

he was an amazing guy, the programme last night was so good but i feel asleep and didnt get to see it all. :'(

    RIP keith floyd

  • Keith on keith was probably the best thing on television this year...I remember watching him as a kid and i didnt have any interest in cooking but found him enthralling .....cooking has lost a great man

  • Fuck you arsehole

  • My comment was meant for bigassballsyes

  • lol right, like Keith Floyd would give a flying fuck about a youtube troll, get over yourself man! Also if you're going to insult someone at least learn to spell ! its 'riddance ' not 'riddens' you utter WANKER.

    R.I.P Monsieur Floyd.

  • yeh well we always gonna find sad bumholes like u on youtube...have a great live man!! i love perfect people like you!!!! XXX
