I dislike this video because he called some people 'lazy' just because we wanted to know how much units it needs to make it good.

i don't care if it is playable ,when i look at my origamis, i had think that making origami makes me happy but looking on what i had make will not makes you happy:D

me and my best pal made one with 72 units in class :D all we have is a4 paper so i had to cut, i drew the guidlines and folded half of the pieces, a girl in my class made the cuts so we got 72 squares (each 7x7 cm, 12 squares from each sheet of a4) and my best pal folded half of them like me (: still i had to gift the slinky to him XD

am i aloud to use a sheet of printer paper and convert it into a square and then do it? becuase origami paper is smaller and i've done like a lot of units and it's not working. Much larger than yours

Since the video came out I have 22 untis made in school and I'm going to go the whole school year (May 28= Last day) and see how big of a slinky I have haha. I hope I have enough free time...

I don't know why you call people LAZY for not doing a slinky that has 60 or 50 units and they just want 20 or 30 well, they just want to SAVE PAPER FOR A BETTER WORLD!! please like so the owner can read! =D

@ChiyokoK21 The point of a slinky is to get that overlaping movement, so you could have fun with it or what not. I mean really, nobody said it must be done i one day or by yourself. you can make it in two or with the help of a friend. Personally, I don't find it interesting with 40 units. I learned that if you're going to do something do it right or don't do it at all.

heaviness and size of paper matters, too. I made 70 units with 7.5 x 7.5 mini origami squares, and the resulting slinky hardly works :(
