Does this app work if you are already using a flurescent bulb but want to find a more appropriate look , efficiency or cost effective bulb?

Yes. Simply input incandescent equivalent watts or max watts listed on the fixture and the bulb type the fixture was designed for and the app will provide you with a recommendation.
