@pjconnor74 It's not exactly a small room. It's open to the stairway and the kitchen. We talk to him all the time when he's inside. He's an inside/outside cat so he also spends lots of time outdoors.
@MudRFunR good to hear! I have an indoor rescued cat and he is terrified of being in small rooms by himself. Just today I left the house for a while and it got dark without a light on. Came home to him crying by the door (and he never talks). Wish my cat could say at least something when the time is right.

ehhe I had a cat who didn't use the litter box but it didn't turn out as nicely as that..
