The U.S.S. Wanderer is the last documented ship to bring a cargo of slaves from Africa to the United States (on November 28, 1858). Stories of subsequent mass landings of slaves have been told, but are in dispute.
When the Wanderer reached Jekyll Island, Georgia from Africa, approximately 409 of the enslaved Africans had survived.
I find it amazing that sheeple simply accept the government's explanation of the Civil War. I'm not about to argue with ignorance...simply to challenge those who have been eating bullshit their entire lives to seek out the facts before mirroring what they've been force fed for so long. Use your heads and stop accepting everything people tell you and everything you see on tv or read in the newspaper...be men, not sheep.
@trb1952 you stupid fuck -- I didn't learn ANY of this shit in school retard. The truth about you fucking scum is not taught -- at all.
For example, Lee's torture of children, is not taught. Lee's selling babies as punishment to the mothers, is not taught. The South's intense 40 year violent illegal efforts to spread slavery, is not taught.
The Nazi like control of speech -- what WHITE people could say and read and write in the South -- is not taught.
Trb you dumb fuck -- the Southern pussies have spent 150 years covering up, lying, and whinning like babies. You fucks were great at torturing children and burning to death men who fought back -- when you had 100 to 1 advantage, and the man was unarmed.
But you ran like pussies from any fair fight. Contrary to your idiot myths, over 3/4 of your soldiers deserted -- many during battle. Your own leaders ran like pussies.
Learn the truth of the Scum sucking South -- not the myths.
@trb1952 Show me anyplace in the South - after 1900 -- where you fucks have admitted what you fucks BRAGGED about before 1870. You fucks BRAGGED that you went to war to spread slavery. You fucks BRAGGED that the COnfederacy was based on Gods will for white men to enslave black race -- world wide. This is what your president and vice president BRAGGED about at the time. Davis bragged that slavery was a Gift of God -- and he would make the whole country slave -- north, south, and west.
@IowaSea I don't post what I post to be confrontational or because I happen to be a southerner. All I am trying to do is to get people to do a little digging into what led up to the Civil War. In my opinion we all lost in that war, north and south alike. If after doing a substantial amount of research of American history to 1861, and you still feel the way you do, I'll respect your informed opinion. Until then, I do not.
@IowaSea I'd also have a little more respect for you if you had enough integrity, intelligence, upbringing and morality not to be referring to your fellow man as fucks and retards.
@IowaSea IRONY at its finest. your boy lincoln cared less about blacks and admitted as much dumbass. yanks invaded the south for tariffs and duties and used slavery as an excuse. DEAL WITH IT!
There were no slave messages sent to Davis at his death. This was made up fucking nonsense. Just like most of the Bullshit the South has lied about.
We don't have any slave testimony that Davis tortured any of his slaves personally, ilke Lee did. But that is probably because Davis slaves were in the Deep South -- and didn't get to fucking write about it.
@IowaSea You have absolutely no knowledge of history besides what you were taught in school. Instead of commenting based on emotion, do some objective research. I think you will be very surprised at what you will find.
When Davis died in 1889, many messages of sympathy were sent from former slaves. From his Miss. plantation at Briarfield, the former slaves...sent the following message of condolence: “We, the old servants and tenants or our beloved master, Hon. Jefferson Davis, have cause to mingle our tears over his death, who was always so kind and thoughtful of our peace and happiness"
DontTrustTaxCons - you are one sick, twisted, pathological liar.
@rms3 -- many messages were NOT sent by former slaves. Show us the messages you say exist. Show us retard.
Were a few slaves treated better -- not whipped, not tortured, not raped? Did some slaves not have their children sold, ect? Yes. Slavers knew to reward submissive slaves that sucked their dick and did their dirty work. But they tortured those who rebelled. See how that works?
But I know of nothing showing Davis personally took part in torture -- but we know Lee did.
The south lunaticss are putting out bat shit crazy distortions to cover up the bat - shit crazy Nazi mentality they had.
The Confederacy was BASED on slavery - its own leaders said. Not just based on slavery - but based on spreading the "great moral truth: of slavery "throughout the civilized world"".
Sadly we are not taught anything about the extremism of the Nazi like south. But if you read their OWN words and their OWN Declarations of Secession - you can learn a lot.
American -- wrong, I just know a lot of history from the South. Davis really was head of the war machine that forced millions of slaves to do the war work of the South - Lee personallyl managed over 100,000 slaves to build the massive earth works around Richmond. Davis really did run away (so did Lee) and was caught wearing a dress, to escape, and he even had the gold collected for wounded war veterans. Many facts like this the South has his for 150 years
can only gain trust and loyalty through diplomacy and negotiation period. It's amazing most americans are still stuck in this 19th century might makes right mentality. the rest of the world has moved on, we should too..
Lies all lies To say that Union prisoners where treated the same as Confederate prisoner is retarded . You know if you guys would step away from your Confederate reenactment outings for awhile and get your heads into reality you might end up being happy people instead of taking on this role of a Victimized confedarate patriot bullshit !
You know you guys need to love these United States and be grateful for what you have .
The record is straight the confedrate cause LOST !
I guess you haven't looked at the united states or really looked at what the union victory did to our country from an individual freedom and liberty standpoint. Read our founding fathers. You might be surprised how much our country has drifted toward what they were trying to get away from in 1776 as a result. Do you think they would approve of foreign illegal invasions like iraq, segregation, an all powerful
The north deliberately starved our soldiers. THEY refused to ransom for their own while maintaining a blockade which denies the Confederacy ample medicinal supplies.
The fault is with you, not us. We carried ourselves accordingly and you executed Major Wirz and others to cover up for your own ruthlessness.
I probably wouldn't care if you weren't such hypocrites about it.
2. Some where not fed for trying to escape or insubordination and if they wanted to eat and they were around other prisoners i'm sure they ate .Also there is a war going on why wouldn't we blockade the south ? Should we have allowed them at that time free trade with the world so that they could finance there rebellion and inflict more death and destruction upon our great nation use some common sense .
Don't talk about starving prisoners who you could have saved, who we had not the means to properly treat. Instead acknowledge that we did the best we could.
You'll get nowhere trying to condemn us, as your prison camp officers deliberately starved our soldiers.
In war, terrible things happen, but we are not uniquely guilty. In contrast, we fought as honorably as could be desired from any belligerent.

Actually it is a well known fact that starvation in the Union military camps was a prevelant issue. They hardly fed the people they did feed, so it is highly unlikely that "they did eat" even when they were around the other soldiers, unless of course you REALLY think that starving people would help to feed someone with their own limited rations. Did it EVER happen, ofcourse, but it wasn't as prevelant an act as starving them was.
As a native Missourian, I have a certain degree of familiarity with the "country clubs" established there for alleged southern "sympathizers". After, of course, suspending that annoying detail of Habeus Corpus.
Wonder when Obama's going to emulate his idol to that degree?
Apparently it is not dead as we are still occupied. Until liberation your lies must be countered with the only truth that exists, and these truths we can teach openly once we are free of your grip.
yup, you can't force people back into a voluntary union it's impossible, you can only occupy and try to brainwash them into somehow accepting that an invasive military campaign resulting in hundreds of thousands of deaths was somehow justified. The only way to do this is to cover up facts and only let people see what you want, because as always invading and murdering people because they disagree with you is wrong. You
On both sides the camps were bad, but the south didn't have the money or resources to properly feed their prisoners. Now part of that could be a partial result of the yankee army burning the south and its fields and farms down.
Sorry there Screw that Bull doesn't hold up to scrutiny just like all of this Confederate crap there is documented proof of wholesale murder and mistreatment of union POW's by the Confederate government and your point may be so in some cases but not all, the reality is that they couldn't support there illegal and immoral insurection in the first place without selling cotton to Europe that was harvested by slaves ...I just set the record straight
If you want to be politically correct explain why the Cherokee people want "the great emancipator" relegated to the same status as Hitler? Could it be because while he was freeing slaves he was hanging hundreds of Native Americans? And he didnt want the slaves freed and I quote:I have no purpose, directly or indirectly, to interfere with the institution of slavery in the States where it exists.I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so." Abraham Lincoln March 4, 1861
That is a lie. Point Lookout was but one case of a Northern camp where prisoners were deliberately starved. Union soldiers who were our prisoners were given the same ration as our own, and it became untenable once the enemy refused to exchange them and left us with an impossible situation. It was immoral - much more so than Declaring Independence from the moneychangers of the north.
what about it ! If your trying to compare Camp Douglas to Andersonville that would be Dumb . Andersonville was a death camp Douglas was as country club on lake Michigan sure there were death at Camp Douglas as there were in every POW camp from disease .exposure and outright defiance of the rules.
There should have been no deaths but the sad fact are the Intent and the Mentality of the CSA is blatantly apparent here you will not see photos of men who are living in tents surrounded by trees
get some facts right. Yes Andersonville was overcrowded, Yes the conditions were deplorable. But the Union POW's were supplied with the same supplies as the CS army, and the guards at the camp received the same amount. However the
Union POW's were stealing the suppies
from the weak POW's and Lincoln head refused to let supplies through the Union lines,
As for the COUNTRY CLUB at Camp Douglas. the food supplied to CS POW's was the same as that to the union POW's at Andersonville even though a large supply was available. How ever the UNION supply personal was stilling 25% of that. leaving the CS POW's starvation
diet. resulting deliberate deaths from malnutrition. This was nothing less than Murder. Medicine was with held even thouth
a good supply was available.this lead to preventable unnecessary deaths from disease. Its Murder
Ok, what you said about dishonest Abe was correct. But how do you figure we should pay you for what we already know? Or what we don't know for that matter. On this little a bit of what ever you want to call it.

Who is this guy?
He is a slave raping, child selling coward.
He is the guy who got rich selling slave children, forcing women to let him fuck them, then selling his own children from those rapes to get rich.
Davis is also the guy that force millions of slaves to build the earth works the South hid behind most of the war.
Davis is also the guy that ran away -- dressed as a woman -- in the hour of Southern need, leaving the South without a leader.
A slaver, a pussy, a loser = Davis.
