I agree about sporadically seeing the shorter games on maps like Steppes of War. I would love to see a tournament that only used maps that have been thrown out; like Steppes, Scrap Station, etc...

Another great game. Watching the engagement at the gold was awesome. Feast really could have done with blink early to pull back low stalkers running up the ramp into marauder fire. The two top comments say it all, although, Feast played well to hold MMA's early push. A good game from both players.

No upgrades, no splash damage, no third base.... I also watched all other games from that set. Feast is not a very good protoss player, he did similar mistakes in all those games.

It just so sad to see the Protoss throw away his game like this. He should take a third expansion and tech up, instead of throwing away his army at the high ground. By the way, marine Maruader with Shield, Slow,Stim and Medivac is much higher than purely Stalker, Zelot and sentrel.

@Ibringtherain88 Ummm... MMA did tech up. He had medivacs, stim and conc shells. Without one of those, it probably would have been an even fight. Without all of them, Feast would have steamrolled him.

I hate how people always talk about Terran being OP.. every race is balanced.. If u dont tech up agsint bio then u lose.. Protoss have force fields, warp-ins and all that crap.. No race is OP.. I can see certain units being OP but since all the races have an equal ammount of them it makes everything balanced..

@alfredobuga It's not "always" - vs. Zerg and maybe Protoss the pylon is built near the ramp to start creating a wall. Vs. Terran you dont want to build a wall because all Terran units are ranged and u cant block the ramp like that. Thus building it close to the Nexus is best because your probe can get right back to mining so you have a little more income then if u built it farther away.

So glad MMA won this. I'm sick of seeing mass unupgraded gateway units tear through everythong. Feast had terrible control as well, his zealots were always caught in the clump of stalkers. It's sad that protoss can even do that well by playing so poorly. If starport tech and upgraded bio couldn't beat unupgraded gateway units, I would quit this game. Too bad grandmaster protoss only requires 3% of a brain

BTW unupgraded gateway units NEVER win against terran.. the reason it COULD have worked, was that MMA was so behind after his attack, meaning it was a somewhat smart move.. MMA just knows how to deal with it.

@nienaber1305 he did some good ff's, but i think he would've been better off teching to HT/DT/Colossus. (with that pylon @10:30 he could have warped in DT and sent them straight to the mineral line, which would have destroyed MMA)

I liekd the commentary force, but some of it was just wrong, that was a hyper aggressive style and as time went on, MMA did not grow in numbers compared to Feast, feast was ahead by 20-30 supply at almost all of the midgame, but the main issue is that you did not address the bad use of FF, if he had used FF's in a better way, the game would have been long over, his FF's didn't cut in half, they blocked and when he needed them to block, they had holes in them.
