80s TV cartoons/animes were epic! The majority of today's anime sucks! Although, I do enjoy Family Guy, The Boondocks, Highschool of the Dead (If you like gory zombie contents).

Pixar & Dreamworks has been shelling out a lot of cool family movie animations, and Japan is still the reigning crown for adult movie animations.

Interesting, I am doing a paper on, "Are Cartoons in the 80s Funny" and I have been thinking about this main idea. That 80s cartoons were hero driven, action, suspense at every moment. Not that its a bad thing. Just the topic of my paper for a art history class. I'm definitely going to talk about the moral driven idea behind these cartoons, "Learn something" Even "Fat Albert" has a part where Bill Cosby says you might even learn something. Hmm...

Joe had the PSA type...dont do drugs...how to prevent from drowning...no bullying...etc. In He-Man, after the episode they would expound on a theme that was present in the episode...confidence...bravery­...telling the truth...etc.
