Scott was very kind in his response to an obviously supremely uninformed SupernautG. What is so disappointing (though we are used to it) is just how poorly the American population actually understands what a free market is all about. Here we have an individual who, while looking at a perfect example of the free market in action, completely misses the fact and bemoans that this is NOT a free market result. Makes one sad.

@SupernautG No irony at all. Rand advocated that one should support the things one valued. Ask The Ayn Rand Institute or The Atlas Society, two of the many Rand-related organizations and projects supported by donations.

@billysunerson Rand, is like those women that write love letters to seriel killers and murderers in prison. She had wet dreams in her diaries for a rapist-murdering-dismembering sociopath and used that sociopathy as her example of an ideal human male - she even wrote in a rape scene her hero carried out in her fiction book. Those were verifiable examples of her kookiness and not ad hominem attacks.
