WOAH... GTA IV has the best story told in a video game!!! YOU cannot deny because it is the highest rated game of this generation. Perfect 10 on IGN, 98/100 on metacritic (highest score for any game ever on metacritic) Uncharted cant even touch GTA son.

@TuggieGameReviews no im not joking. i have played through all the main story missions in gta 3, vice city, san andreas, IV, the lost and damned, and  the ballad of gay tony. All of them had an incredible storyline, the most memorable characters, and great gameplay. my two favorite game series are star wars battlefront and gta. This is my opinion but im sure that more people would say gta 4 has a much better storyline than uncharted.

@TVGalactic I'm sure that's not the case. GTA games are fun and they have decent stories indeed, but you'll find that many many people have different opinions and think neither of these games as their favorite or the best stories. I think Uncharted 3 has one of the best stories in a game, but there are plenty of other games out there that are known for being better than GTA. The appeal of GTA has never been the story, it was the open-world gameplay.

But do people mainly play it for the open world? maybe kids that like to drive around and beat up and kill everything in sight. GTA, mainly, is a story-driven game. I mean besides side missions, achievements, and multiplayer the main thing to do is the story. Also gta games is one of those games that has tons of mods. and it has also inspired other stuff like all of the gta 4 machinimas

@TVGalactic I'm not even arguing if it's a good game, I'm arguing that the story elements in the GTA series are good but they don't have the great story telling aspects and quality writing you'll find in something like Uncharted, Metal gear, or some Bioware game. It's good, definitely not bad, but the whole "maybe kids that" is pointless, There are a lot of people that like sandbox games, mainly the people that make them; And then we'd conclude then that Skyrim is for kids with that logic.

@TVGalactic Seriously, actually read my whole comment and respond to the whole thing. I said THE quality of writing of other games, and I said it was GOOD, meaning that the quality is GOOD. Like what the heck else do you want me to say? It's all subjectivity and the fact you brought up a rating based of gaming journalists who absolutely no one should care about, while ignoring the customer opinion, really puts doubt in my mind that you and I are going to agree on the quality of this game.

There have been average rated gta games like vice city stories and liberty city stories, which story lines werent that good. But the main series games deserve the high rating. Im sure the uncharted games deserve their high rates as well. But in my opinion gta 4 has the best story line and your opinion is that uncharted 3 has the best story line. Also SBF2 has a great story too.

Ucharted is a great game but its not the best story ever told, its not the best multiplayer I have played but its a 9,5 of 10 and the uncharted series made me buy a PS3 that i only use for sony games Even though I prefer360

Best multiplayer: Battlefield 3 and COD4 including some mods

Best campaign ever: Oblivion, KOTOR and mass effect

BTW for those that havnt heard of the galactic warfare mod for cod4 its a mix of star wars n COD4 i have a <3 marked clip on my channel if you want 2 see gameplay

The composer you're referring to, Michael Giacchino, also did the soundtrack for the earlier lucas arts game Secret Weapons over Normandy. I'm excited for this news, That game had some great music and I'm sure this one will too.
