@chillerman625 of course its sounds mono, its recorded with a camcorder, the speakers are far enough away and the promedia 2.1's have excellent imaging even when they're closer together

I think you should place them farther apart. Too close and they kinda sound mono.

Lots of nostalgia for these. My suite-mate in college had the 5.1's and my brother had the 2.1 system years later and I was always jealous. I am now in the market for new pc speakers again.
