Piano Concerto No. 3 in E minor played by Medtner Pt. 1/5

I love this concerto -- let me plug Michael Ponti's recording (you can get it on emusic, probably on rhapsody too), which captures the swell, drive, passion and emotion of this concerto perfectly. Better than this one, I think, and certainly better the Scherbakov's. Like most of Medtner, this concerto takes time to fall in love with -- give it a bunch of listens -- it's worth it.

The style of that concerto is really similar to the rimsky-korsakov. isn't it?
