I agree with mikeblitzmag. One of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard. Fugs Second Album is an absolute masterpiece. A masterwork. I always thought the lyrics, strangely enough, could apply to a vampire. I was in a Folk/Bluegrass duo many years ago and we performed this. People loved it.
Hi, my name is Richard Huet. First of all, I wish to thank you for posting my version of "Morning, Morning". It was the very first song I recorded in Paris way back in 1970. I was very inexperienced and scared as hell... It was quite a surprise for me to find it here. I didn't even imagine anyone knew of its existence outside of Montréal. May I send you a better recording of it and some pictures to accompany it? If you wish, you may write me at richardverdun@videotron.ca Merci beaucoup.
@HuetRichard Bonjour Richard! Good to hear from you. One would never know you weren't a seasoned professional when you recorded "Tout Seul," it is so very beautiful. Tuli would have been very pleased that you chose his song as your first recording. I will write to you e-mail address for your other recording and pictures.
@LeslyGillian Album ESP Disk 1028, 1966; Lyrics by Tuli Kupferberg; vocals by Ed Sanders and Betsy Klein; Lee Crabtree, piano, bells, celeste; Vinny Leary, Pete Kearney, guitar; John Anderson, bass; Ken Weaver, drums.
