Actually they stopped that the year before. It was at this time they froze the field, but I remember that they had so much trouble re-aligning the field that the cautions took forever.

gordon did no wrong it should not have taken that long to clean up the track and with the no racin back to the flag it gave him the win he was out front for half a lap and was gettin passed again they could have restarted with like 2 or 3 to go

Yeah, The COT turned into nothing but a failure. Safety wise it's cool but nascars plan for teams to save money didn't work. They build them and race them like the older car.

Funny how the #2 guy at HMS last year is #4 this year. Now it's too hard to tell who's #1, 'cause J.J is the winningest of the team, Mark Martin's the hottest guy on the circuit right now, and Jeff's lead the points for the most part of this year, plus a win at Texas just leaves Homestead left for him to win at.

Oh definetly. HMS is the head team of Chevy, just like Rouch Fenway is for Ford, Joe Gibbs is for Toyota, and it's kinda a tie for RPMS and Penske for Dodge. I feel bad that Chrysler and GM are about to go bankruptcy, though.

that was my 1st time at a race, all the way from MD. Believe me, it got alot worse at the end than what the TV showed. Screwed up ending. I was sitting in turn 4 and Jr. just blew by his ass. Gordon's bad ass too though.

This was the reason why NA$CAR made this rule. First race with the GWC was the Loudon summer race in mid-july of 2004. Still go Jeff!
