I'm having problems putting music on, it worked great out of the box but after i connected it froze when copying music then the second time it came up with a bunch of random folders rather then where im supposed to drag and drop music, now it doesnt play at all please help

I got this only for $1 at one of those machines with a claw. I have a similar problem with this device, the cable is fine, the only other reasons that it could be having these issues could be 1) faulty/damaged usb ports, 2) faulty win7 install, or 3) the device itself is faulty (though i did not have any issues directly accessing the device (bypassing the drive-letter, and (before and after) performing an erase though diskpart) through HxD, so it just maybe a faulty usb hardware/os install idk.

@PrimaLirik It's been a while since i've owned it but you didnt really know when you just sorta left it in there until you need it, I would say like 1-2 hour charge would be enough though for a days use

may i ask something? i put about 200 songs in my ipod clone and it only plays 50-60 songs then it goes back to track #1 are there ways to fix this? the songs aren't corrupted. i can play it on my psp with no problem. pls help me.

@darkmenace01 Sorry mate, I never had that problem so I can't give proper advice, But are you dragging the files on with windows explorer or using media player to sync it?

@GarbageState Battery life with small headphones I think was about 4-5 hours, depending how loud, how big headphones etc etc.

Depends how much storage you need, at the time i had this i had about 1.5gb of music i think. Now i have about 5gb so my 16gb nano is rather useful

the light at the top ( in my case blue) when flashing ment it was playing , when on constant on it was paused.

the red light flashed when the battery was low or the max/min volume was reached.

yea mine played all my songs :) although i never filled it up since it took too long to go through the songs on it (no screen) and yea thats one of the reason i bought the clones since itunes annoys me a bit.

glad you reply! yes something like that! bcoz my cousin bought an ipod nano knock off 4 gigabyte. actually he can put many songs on it he just occupied about 45 % of it or 530 songs. however, it can only play 60 songs and the beyond that (61-something) it says format error!.

well i've heard that if you format the shuffle it will show the clones real amount.

so if the amount changes it means it was the same as your cousins but if it doesnt then that means your clone isnt the same and can hold more than his.

ok it kinda sounds like hacked memory , try formatting the shuffle(plug it in , go to my computer, right click the removable disk,select format and then start) once your formatted it try again and see if that helps.

I would say that theres a slim chance of getting one with a virus chip, since cost wise its ineffiecent to keep paying out for chips when they can email them for free.

the clone charges via mini usb , a port for this can be found at the bottom next to the on/off switch.

when plugged in a red light should indicate it#s chargeing.

There should have been a usb - mini usb cable included with the clone.
