umesh2063- acute GE T-99.9: doesn't make sense. GE could be gastroenteritis. T (temperature? 99.9F?) grade 2/6 ear;y diastolic murmur at apex - depends on whether it's low pitched/rumbling (mitral stenosis) or blowing (aortic regurgitation). Doctors generally have bad handwriting and lots of abbreviations- could you have misread?
Dude, your echo doesn't coincide with the auscultatory findings. Notice that the echo shows atrial fibrillation. Your heart sounds are very regular - and with a good opening snap as well!
hanasia2011 - no, this is mitral stenosis. There is no regurgitant jet under the mitral valve leaflets. The anterior leaflet has the classic doming/ hockey stick appearance on the parasternal long axis view (1st clip).
@AnginaJoelie You say echo shows atrial fibrillation, you most likely right. I was wondering, is it the wall motion that you can read that well or the ECG below that guides you to that conclusion ?

Probably mitral stenosis due to rheumatic fever.
