this was the first castlevania game i played. mind blowing. ive never been so immersed into a game before this one. my favorite castlevania is rondo of blood.

I love this game. I have it for the PS1 so won't buy it for my xbox as it doesn't improve on anything, nether the less this game is awesome. Super Castlevania is one of the best in the series, its the only one where you can attack in all directions. I bought Harmony of Dispair on the xbox website the other day but haven't had a chance to play yet since I'm on holiday.

The only thing I dislike about Harmony of Dispair (before even playing it) is the DLC content. 400msp for one f**king map, greedy bastards. DLC has just turned into a way for game companies to earn more money rather than improving the game, like they deliberatly hold content back so they can sell it to us later and when the content is already in the game but you have to pay unlock it! Such arse holes.

Yup, I ain't bought any DLC yet as I'm hoping for a sale.

The annoying thing is DLC would be great, devs like Gearbox do it right with Borderlands. Small fee for huge new areas with tons to do.

Done them years ago, just stopped when 360 number 4 died.

Now I'm onto Elite number 1 (360 number 6) and I'm hoping that it doesn't die on me after 6 months and as a show of faith, I've started them again.

I got one on launch.

It was my favourite console for a long time, but then it died. And then it died another 4 times. And these reviews here were done on 360 number 4, but the new vids like Castle Crashers (Pretty sure that's going to be my first new vid) will be done on 360 number 6.

I'm only going back to them because Elites are supposed to last longer than 6 months (The whole reason I stopped was because of the consoles lifespan).

Not me or any of my mates, we've been gaming for over 20 years and know the do's and don't and how to look after them. The problem with the 360's, is the problem that no one believes exist, yet I've seen it first hand on numerous occasions.

The updates.

A mate of mine had never had his 360 online since launch, so 3 years in he finally gets the will to want Live, he plugs his console online, downloads the updates and bam, dead 5 minutes later. After 3 and a half years of it working.

The best one for me is when people say "well is it well ventilated and cool?", mine sits on a desk with FA beside it with 2 fans on it, and in a room that's commonly below 20 degrees Celsius as I hate being warm.

It's like a morgue in my room basically.

So it ain't that it's overheating from overuse because it's rarely on for more than 3 hours at a time, and it ain't from me not taking care of it because it's cleaned and never moved while on or hit ot anything.

MS just can't buult a working console to save there life is all. As the original X-BOX's weren't foolproof either, as that was our first ever console death.

Around 20 different machines over the years and the first one to die was a MS one, then the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th were MS ones. 6th was a PS3.

Yeah, as with all consoles we get treat like shit and have access to far fewer features. I mean you guys had movie and show downloads over a year before us.

But I'm hoping that Sony force Live to get better anyway. Every year I pay for Live and every year I wish it was better because what you get, just isn't worth it. I mean you're basically paying to access the odd sale and certain games. Which annoys me.

Because all that was standard on the PS3, and now PS Plus is out, and they're giving away tons of free games over the year for your £40 sub fee.

So I'm hoping that MS take note and start providing a better service. Hell, maybe they could just fix the severe lag I have all the time I'm on Live, lag that I never get on the PS3.

Does my nut in how many games I've stopped playing due to poor online on Live. Like Lost Planet 1, and Battlefield MC 2, and more recentally MW2.

Nah ours is a different service. Same with the PSN, ours is different to NA's because movies come out at different times, which also sucks :(

Yup it was up about 16 months ago and when the X-MAS Eve massacre happened, I decided not to put them back up because I was sick of the 360 and it's shitty hardware.

But now we have an Elite (Sixth 360, 5th died 2 months ago) so I'm hoping it lasts longer than 6 months and therefore I'll be doing more vids for the system.

Afterall, I need something to fill the Wii gap I now have.

Yeah Panda bought an Elite for Crackdown 2, so as they're supposed to last longer than a week, I figured I'd do reviews for it again. So the oldies will be going up for a bit and then the newies.

To be fair, the last time I had them up I had about a 3rd of the subs, so to the majority, they're new XD
