get rid of the optidrive unless you want your throttle to lock in and take off. thats what happened to mine and the whole front end nedded rebuilt because it went right into a wall. you still ahev stearing when it locks in. a drop of water willl make that crappy optidrive die.

dont break the engine in on grass it will use more pressure on the engine to go but that is a very nice car

I have an OS .18CVR and it's either 1 pull or pulling frenzy. Sometimes, I even have to richen it up a bit. I'll never understand it.

What are you doing to prime the engine? You should be taking off the pressure line from the exhaust and blowing in it. Blow for about one second after the fuel reaches the carb with the slide closed. It's the most consistant way to prime it. Also if you're using after run oil, try wd-40 instead. It'll start much easier. Also you say sometimes you have to richen it? Richening the high needle or low? Richening the high needle helps nothing for startup.

My .21TM runs great, easy starts, good idle, never dies. But it runs way HOT. So hot that if I put the body on the Revo the engine reaches well above 300 degrees.

The sad part is that the engine really wants to run HOTTER! It is plenty rich, but for now only has as much power as a trx 3.3.

If I leaned it out I know there would be more power but the temps are just so high. I really don't know what to do.

dude, just prime your engine a bit. i take the pressure hose of from the muffler and blow into it, you will see the fuel go through the fuel line to the carb. once it reaches the carb open it to WOT for about 2 seconds. re-attatch the pressure line and pull.

ive also got a .21tm. i started mine for the first time in months today by primming it like i said and it went FIRST pull.

also are you using the single chamber resonator or the double?
