  • "What they've said turns out not to be true!" :D Hahaha brilliant! "That doesn't work either, it might be that they THOUGHT it was true.. And they were just idiots!" :D haha! I love this show!!

  • Justice is blind...

There has been a campaign to get trials heard rather than seen by a jury, because it would reduce the bias towards letting attractive defendants get off.

  • love how the featured related video is called "How to tell if someone is lying: eyes"

  • i think im a truth wizard person haha but seriously...it annoys people

  • im a truth wizard

  • @JimmyTheKiller Are you? That is astounding. Isn't it a burden at times?

  • HELLO DEAR

  • ooooooooooooooooooh la-la-la-la-la

  • Aaaaactually, when tested various methods of lie detection punters tend to get the most correct when they use a systematic approach of both verbal and non-verbal clues. Lying will generally be displayed in the body language, but it really comes down to a combination.

  • I am a truth wizard!

  • @xTheLynkx the way you constructed that sentence tells us that you're lying.

  • When telling the truth, I tend to pause and think about it, trying to be accurate, answering slowly, adding lots of qualifiers... and people distrust me and think I'm lying and being shifty, if they don't know me.

When I lie, I speak quickly, confidently, and with surety, since, who cares if I'm accurate, I'm just lying... people tend to find me very convincing and trustworthy, if they don't know me.

  • I just assume that people are lying if their lips are moving and I can hear sound coming from their mouth. :o) Obviously, I have Trust Issues.

  • @wubs23

Since he was referencing Ekman at the end of the video, I think he is. =P

  • really? guess he is not familiar with the work of dr. paul ekman?

  • Since so many people believe that liars are afraid to look someone in the eye while lying, liars tend to overcompensate and stare into the eyes rather than allowing the more natural eye movements.

  • lol so many ppl think that ( im pritty sure im 1 too )

but in england its hard to be tested xd

  • im one of those "truth wizards" things :D

  • @penguinswithswords I think I am too. I can always tell when people are being disingenuous.

  • A lyer wears a t-shirt that says "I always lie, never listen to me".

  • After this episode I was expecting David to sit with his eyes closed on every episode of Would I Lie to You. :)

  • well their eyes can be a give away.

but the speach can be the big give away.

  • I adore Sean Lock!

  • What does Alan say at 0:52?

  • @patrick112590 'They work for estate agents.'

  • @pienniejj

I thought he said 'StageCoach' - seemed an odd thing to say... lol
