I'm usually not one for modern "poppy" music, but you have to give her credit for having a really good voice and is a pro on the piano. This song has a great melody and all the players are great too.

@ThePianoguy89 Alicia Keys is overall more talented. An unbelievable singer and artist. However, I would say Vanessa is a superior pianist.

@wyatbroadcasting Yes she is, but she is still talented on the piano. I saw home videos of her playing advanced piano. She once played Maple Leaf Rag by Scott Joplin. People think her chord progressions are too simple, but it's simple because she uses her diaphragm more full than Vabessa Carlton. Alicia Keys belts more high notes in chest voice than Vanessa Carlton that's why it's more simple. V.C.'s are more advanced because she sings more in a middle register and more simpler way.

A beautiful song it is, but I'm just wondering why she's hunched over like that? I mean, she looks like she's having trouble reaching the mic so she's hunched over the keys trying to reach it. It looks uncomfortabe for her. Couldn't they put place it a little closer to her face? Anyway, it's a great song. and she's a lovely singer. Thanks for the post.

She's amazing! but I've seen part 1 and part 2 of the video and the audiences reaction was sort of mixed between " I dont know this song " and " Im just here for A thousand miles ". Kind of fake if you ask me. I wish these people who were supporting her are STILL supporting her now, her voice has improved ten fold :)

that audience was so fake... they only knew her a thousand miles song.. all of the rest there they stood, quite. There were exceptions, like this one guy and girl... they don't know how lucky theey are... I would love to be at one of her concerts... :(
