  • @Allxcore 1:47 to understand better what i wanted to say

  • @Allxcore yes but if you obsreve the first bass drum you'll notice there's no pedal for kicking it

  • @Allxcore You are correct, but those people...like Derek Roddy, for instance, use a pedal with their second bass drum, and the bass drum is a different size for a different tune. The difference is it is functional and isn't for aesthetics.

  • 2 people like justin bieber # devil dies

  • dude, you're too perfect <3

  • @Allxcore it seems silly though.

  • all hope is gone

  • have you ever had two diffrent bass drums? its a fucking pain in the ass to tune them and keep them sounding the same

  • @dylsk84life1, No its not.

  • @Allxcore And his setlist sheet sat on the other one. And some drummers like the sound.

  • @Allxcore but why is the question??

  • i would do many things no man should do to get that drum kit

  • that's just for show.

  • He uses Double pedal because that way he only uses one microphone.. are you idiot?

  • it does not use two bass drums ???... hahaha, only uses one with a double pedal .. only aesthetically

  • why have a trigger and a mic on your drums :L?

  • @lambvofvgod its to blend trigger and real drum sound

  • Joey Live utilize 2 triggers in one bass drum is stupid

  • if joey could use triggers on his cymbals he would

  • i saw joey live with robzombie in saskatoon! fuck yeah! slipknots the best metal band allive! joey jordanson= best fucken drummer!!

  • it doesent matter if you got 2 bass drum and use double pedal! i know joey is one of the best drummer today and he can play, sometimes you must think about how the kit looks :)) obviously 2 bass drums look cooler than one so i think theres 2 bass drums cause it looks cooler :DD

  • 0:30 lol all black cymbals except for one little splash.. haha

  • no no no people its alot easier to play the doublebass pedal

  • @doublebassism I dont think its easier to play a double pedal appose to two singles. They both sorta have their own feel to it but I really dont think one is easier or harder than the other. Just my opinion thou

  • @Allxcore no its a qualified question, i don't know if you know that you can change these double pedal to two normal drum pedals but if he thinks that a second bass drum only for a better look is a bit stupid and he asks himself if there is another background, then i think everyone who doesn' think like him is an idiot and i don't know if you're too stupid to read his question carefully, but he asks why and not if there are any other drummers who use double pedals even if they have a second base

  • where can i find these pictures?

  • @slipkhein66 i found some of these pictures on the rhythm magazine website when they talked about joeys kit, and the rest of them off a thread on pearl drums forum

  • @JOEYJORDlS0N thanks dude take care

  • @JOEYJORDlS0N Man I cannot find the can you pass me the link please?

  • those cymbals are fukin (sic) but they would be way better if they were red with black logos

  • @Allxcore I agree with you but it's not nice to call people names!

  • can someone tell me the name of this double pedal?? thanks

  • @koRn87BG pearl demon drive

  • @JOEYJORDlS0N thank you ;)

  • paiste 2002s ftw!!

  • Thanks for uploading this vid! I have the same Demon Drive pedals and i see Joey has his foot board quite flat and close to the ground although the beaters are still quite far from the head, I have mine set fairly high, i wonder if lowering it will increase speed possibly?

  • What are those red and black things that are touching the head of the drums?

  • @killbob234 triggers

  • @JOEYJORDlS0N Why does joey use triggers when hehas such a nice kit?

    i always have wondered.

  • @aileanwazere he just wants the same sound all the time. that why a lot of drummers do it

  • @killbob234 triggers

  • @Allxcore YA LIKE JOEY !!!!!

  • those cymbals are (sic)!!!!!

  • give me those drumsets!!! please

  • if you have 2 bass drums, why use the double pedal?

  • @frootcherryloop he might be used to playing the double pedal

  • @frootcherryloop : The rebound between the beaters helps keep the drummer in time for more consistent double bass, especially at high speeds. Lots of drummers use the second kick for purely aesthetic reasons.

  • @frootcherryloop he is a small guy, he has to be comfortable to play that fast.

  • @frootcherryloop for show

  • @frootcherryloop i'm gonna guess one of 2 reasons, either he likes the feel of the slave pedal as opposed to a master pedal with his left foot, or he doesn't want to worry about one of 2 triggers not working in a live setting

  • @frootcherryloop because a double pedal cost less that two single pedals

  • @frootcherryloop appearance mostly, it's also useful to tape the set list to the bass drum you're not using :)

  • @frootcherryloop they are probly too lazy to tune the other drum lol

  • @frootcherryloop because this guy is a stupid and bastard only have money nothing else pffff

  • @frootcherryloop A lot of drummers actually have two bass drums with one of them with a double pedal hooked up to it. The reason is because the bass drums might be two different sizes so they have different sounds, so one they'll use for double bass and they other will just have a single pedal hooked up to it and they'll use that when they're not doing double bass. My friends is like that. One sounds better with double bass going on it and the other sounds better when its alone.

  • @frootcherryloop for a prop for other drums..

  • @frootcherryloop because they feel more comfortable using a double pedal but because of the way their drums are set up it would look ugly with one big spot, in short terms because of the looks

  • @frootcherryloop It's very difficult to tune the two bassdrums to the same sound.

  • @frootcherryloop its so he only has to tune (his mics and triggers it) and if u mic 2 different bass drums you can really tell the difference in the tuning so it keeps the sound the same and its difficult enough to tune 2 bass drums the same and get a close sound

  • ah sorry i just jizzed my pants
