These kids need to know where the posts are in the cerebellum. Be share shooters. Hit the inside of the goal post. To teach these kids this, make an inside goal frame the same as the outside only smaller, just enough room for the puck, the inside needs to be filled in, so their rewards are shooting between the two pipes. They also need to shoot with both L & R handed which will make the practice more challenging. And make them better with their dominant hand.

I watched the Russians do their drill, so what, they had their heads down. Here is what has to happen first the coaches need to take the stress out of the game. Plus having 2 star goalies is the main reason other teams have difficulty scoring. 2 of our top players were ejected and the Canucks had like what 9 or 10 power plays including a 5 on 3 and 5 min and they won only 4-3. They should have won by a lot more. Anyway the Bruins will be back to their winning ways this week.
@tblack34 Best 4 lines of hockey if we're talking about the Neanderthal league. Other than Seguin and a few others, the Bruins have no skill. Their whole system relies on intimidating the opponent into making mistakes. Their go to's are dumping the puck in the corner and crashing the net.
As for the goaltending, the only reason they're doing good is because Chara probably cross checks more than anyone in the league, allowing the goalies to challenge and cut down angle.
@kenzzzhou A few others? Bergeron, Krejci, Kelly, Peverley. I can go on. Even our tougher players Horton and Lucic have talent. Tim Thomas and Tuukka Rask the top goalies in the game right now. I don't know what team you like but you need toughness and skill and top goaltending to be successsful. That is why the Bruins won last year and why they could win again this year.

Marchand's up end was definitely a cheap shot (esp. given his history) but I honestly it doesn't even compare to how cheap the 5-on-1 against Thornton was, I'd be embarrassed to be a Canucks fan

Actually i'm a huge fan of rough tough hockey... I like the way the bruins play and think the nucks need some more toughness. I'm sick of everyone hating on Burrows... He had to play the way he did to start his career just to stay in the league. Now he has become a top line player and doesn't get the credit he deserves. Marchand is more of a "Rat" than Burrows is at this point in his career.
The nucks should have gone after Marchand after the cheap shot on Salo.

These kids need to know where the posts are in the cerebellum. Be share shooters. Hit the inside of the goal post. To teach these kids this, make an inside goal frame the same as the outside only smaller, just enough room for the puck, the inside needs to be filled in, so their rewards are shooting between the two pipes. They also need to shoot with both L & R handed which will make the practice more challenging. And make them better with their dominant hand.

I watched the Russians do their drill, so what, they had their heads down. Here is what has to happen first the coaches need to take the stress out of the game. Both can skate and score, both are very good at yapping and getting under peoples skin, and being agitators, and both fight once in a while....but you have never seen Burrows take a guys knees out, or otherwise injure a player. Boston said we are'nt tough enough, so we come in and play tough, and you are still bitching. Stop it, its 6 months till June.

Plus having 2 star goalies is the main reason other teams have difficulty scoring. 2 of our top players were ejected and the Canucks had like what 9 or 10 power plays including a 5 on 3 and 5 min and they won only 4-3. They should have won by a lot more. Anyway the Bruins will be back to their winning ways this week.

@tblack34 Best 4 lines of hockey if we're talking about the Neanderthal league. Other than Seguin and a few others, the Bruins have no skill. Their whole system relies on intimidating the opponent into making mistakes. Their go to's are dumping the puck in the corner and crashing the net.
As for the goaltending, the only reason they're doing good is because Chara probably cross checks more than anyone in the league, allowing the goalies to challenge and cut down angle.

@kenzzzhou A few others? Bergeron, Krejci, Kelly, Peverley. I can go on. Even our tougher players Horton and Lucic have talent. Tim Thomas and Tuukka Rask the top goalies in the game right now. I don't know what team you like but you need toughness and skill and top goaltending to be successsful. That is why the Bruins won last year and why they could win again this year.
