Who are "The Blacks" I am a 61 year old. For the first 15 years of my life I was called a Negro. Then I was called Black. A few years later I was called African American. "The blacks" does not sound right at all. If Obama said "I have a great relationshitp with the whites. I have always had a great relationship with the whites". Automatically it would trigger a sense of seperation. US and THEM kind of feel. I'm sure many whites have a problem with "blacks" viewing certain actions and comments from whites as racist because it's also somthing they would say and do. If Donnald knew "the blacks", he would know how "the blacks" would feel about the use of words.
