  • Something about Alheist Trauma?

  • I became a full blown Christian at 20, I'm approaching my 21st birthday and only last week, in my heart I realize that I never REALLY believed it, I was just in a place where I NEEDED to believe it. I'm agnostic at this point, but I'm so0o paranoid-it is ridiculous. Nice to see that I'm not alone.

  • @DollFace8x3 Jeez, I can't even remember my age. I meant to say approaching my 22nd birthday. lol...wow...at least I made myself laugh.

  • i understood at the age of 6 to 8 that religions where fake and there was no gods .

lucky not traumatized but i can understand religion does cause trauma .

and for any older people they have lived in the religious lies

prefer to die with them rather than to come out of it and admit they have been wrong and lied to all their lives

  • Leaving the fold was a turning point for me... Thank you for this... I live in Scotland and I am an Ex Fundamentalist Christian... I have a blog on "Blogger" just look up "Ex Fundamentalist", For my story...

  • I appreciate your comment, and I would be glad to hear more of your views and experiences. I'm continuing to learn and write and counsel people about RTS. I can be reached through my website. Thanks.

  • Thank you so much. This is exciting because millions of people suffer from this. I have never heard of Dr. Marlene but more people are coming out to talk about this issue. Millions-who are quietly suffering and being treated for other issues when the fundamental issue is religious abuse.
