no you dont want them to stick around..the baby went back out to see and the mother wont leave because she doesnt know the baby is already at sea. we stopped yesterday and they tried to coax her back down river but she wouldnt go. they also fast when they are away from their feeding grounds so she hasnt eaten in a month and they said she is looking unhealthy..hopefully she goes back down to the ocean
