I have a storm and there are 3 main things that annoy the hell out of me: Freezing (usually when sending pictures or multitasking/moving too quickly), The time it takes to reset and the frequency you have to reset, it takes a good 5-6 minutes at least. Then the fact that they only allow you some MB's of storage for apps, I have a 16gb memory card and I still cant use for than like 7 apps including browsers and messengers. I plan on upgrading when the iPhone 5 comes out, Verizon finally has it.

Most of you Iphone user haters are just silly. When something better than the iphone comes out you can bet that most Iphone users will admit it, but then say the App store is still the Best. The Storm and Storm II have been very dissapointing for RIM, they don't generate much sales or hype. The phone that might finally be the Iphone killer is the HTC HD2. Even Iphone user on Iphone forums are admitting this phone seems better.

i wouldn't say the storm 2 has been disappointing, it's only been out for 2 months. and sales for storm 2 and storm 1 were high. They don't get the mind share and hype that the iphone does, but they do sell. and the hd2 is windows mobile. I think most people, especially anyone who has used windows mobile, will wait for the android version.

with the new firmware they fixed ever singe lag issue the keyboard is way more responsive and it registers all your hits and the accelorometer works faster they have fixed it big time they could still make the accelorometer alittle faster but thats about the only thing they need to fix now and add WIFI support

No he's right I have the Storm and its not as responsive as I-Phone. I always have to do a cold restart to get the firmware going again and yes I do close all the open programs. I like the phone but there are some small bugs that they have to work out. sometimes when I recenter the screen the phone doesn't follow suite. I clean the cash from time to time but I'm sure that all these issues will be fixed with the next generation.

Do you even know how to close the programs properly? I think it was a bad comparison because you had the blackberry browser set on the Storm instead of the internet explorer or Firefox. The reason is lagging is because you don't know how to close the programs properly and you properly had a lot of programs open.

When you look at photos on storm..if you click on the photo at full screen it will zoom in on each click. You have the curved arrow key to back up. How can you test a phone if you don't know how to really use it. Bad tester. Get familiar with the phone first. Iphone is a bit nicer...but teh storm offers more flex. Example...Apple charges $100 more for each version of teh phone that has bigger storage...with the 32GB model cost 499. I can simply drop in a 32GB when I want too @ $25 or less.

I used to experience an error along the lines of "Cannot reach host" when I was updating it but after trying the next day it worked. I don't know if your getting similar errors, it's most likely something to do with the repo itself.

i have a bb storm, and honestly, if u use ur fone for entertainment, stick to ur iphone. it has so many apps going for it. bb storm will get some apps, but theyre not here yet, and they wont be as good cuz it doesnt have multitouch. rather wait for the palm pre, or keep ur iphone.
