  • I had a lilac crown amazon for about 20 years and we had to put him down about 5 years ago. He was not a pet but a member of our family and to this day I miss him very much. Sorry for your loss.

  • It is sad when a pet bird dies. Even when they are being mean or screaming, they are still more like a friend than a pet.
