  • o ok yea that's true!

  • you are worried about a little acid on your hands? if it was that deadly every backyard greasemonkey would be dead , get some some good soap and be a man lavco! , Im just kidding but u are kind of a puss:)

  • @kevgr5 This is a tutorial I have to point out all the dangers of it

    -Lavco

  • -.- i hate your transfer case it has elertic 4x4 i like my 4x4 to have a shifter by my leg

  • so is it 4x4 and what engine you got a 302 351 or a 429

  • @dragata1 All broncos are 4x4 so yes. =] and its a 351 windsor

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech well not all are 4x4 some are 2wd but most of them are 4wd if you check my channel i HAD a 1980 ford f-100 had a 302 in the video then i wanted more power so i put in a 429 bigblock

  • @dragata1 all broncos of the 5th gen are 4x4. Nice bigblock drop in though!

    -Lavco

  • @LavcoPriceTech true just noticed the year of your bronco and the lady that i sold the tuck to she blew the head gaskets -.- on a freshly rebuilt 429 priced at 2grand

  • Connector for the coax is a N-type male...I work in cable

  • Wouldn't that drain your battery faster?

  • it allows the radio to pick up all the background noise on that freqs which you dont want so the squelch can control how loud it will have to be to open up. Now to tune it would would turn the squelch all the way down and then slowly turn it back up so you just get away from the white noise that you hear. So that once someone transmit you can hear that clear. Now if that person has an weak power or signal you can open the squelch to maybe hear them in the background of the white noise

  • You should make a video driving around talking to people

  • Hey guys It would be a good idea put a fuse inline right where you hook it up at the battery. I know from a personal experience. O.o

  • @allan1353 the line that goes to the cb has a fuse

  • sweet video guys, learned a new trick watching this, never thought about using a zip to keep all my post connection cables all neat n tidy. and i thought of a fix for if your mounting screws strip the plastic from hitting bumps to hard or w/e. just put some 1/4' plywood behind it so the screws have something good to grip on too.. the hardwareu used looks like wood screws anyway.

  • @DrTeeHSea Oh yes!

    -Lavco

  • What do you think about the Cooler Master Cosmos 2?

  • rubber gloves make lots of static electricity fyi

  • @Lexslayerpride Never ever have I heard of parts in the engine bay being fried by a static discharge.

and I'm under my hood quite alot, I don't wear rubber gloves tho. I'm not scared of a little battery acid, I just work around it, and make sure not to get it in any open cuts. and i always scratch off any corrosion as soon as i see it with a post cleaner. But still.. the only thing i think that could have problems is some fuses...which i still doubt very highly

  • Umm why did I watch this, I'm 15 and don't have a car...

  • @cdavid119 U will soon

    -Lavco

  • @cdavid119 because it's LPT of course!

  • did it come with 1994 mounting hardware???

  • apparently a zip-tie is more useful than price

  • @KirkHarveyGames Oooooo!!!

    -Lavco

  • Nice one guys!

  • Give us a tour of your rig. Currently I'm turning my 1992 Suzuki Vitara JLX short-wheel-base into an offroading beast - Reppin' the Zooks xD

Haha, that was me commenting about America using CB frequencies. I was just saying it was weird because other countries (like here in Australia) have converted to UHF from CB, I didn't mean any offence or anything, sorry :S

  • @MADMANx511 Lol no worries =]

    -Lavco

  • @MADMANx511 All is good. Just didn't understand the context of which you were coming from. We aren't allowed to use high freq

  • You guys really should consider putting an inline fuse on that cord. A 12 volt lead acid car battery is very dangerous if it were to short onto, say, any metal in the whole car! It has enough current to weld your 6 gauge cable to whatever it touches. The short circuit will burn the insulation off and the cord will catch fire. All the while there is nothing you can do to stop it. I speak from experience here, and I was only using a moderately sized 12v battery. I can show you the charred wire!

  • @thesmallterror It has a fuse in the wire that goes to the CB.

    -Lavco

  • u should put the antenna on the hood or front bumper lavco

  • magnetic mounts are the worst thing you can use and also the spot you got it it will maybe get 2 miles of range if you are lucky

  • Time to install that CB radio that I don't have into that car I don't own. :). You guys rock Now if I ever do get a CB radio I know where to look for a good install video.

  • the trucking cb channle is 19

  • CB Radio that takes me back to the early 80's when i had one and they became legal in the UK. Thanks for the memories guys :-)

  • I'm so glad that I am not the only redneck computer nerd.

  • I'm so glad that I am not the only redneck computer nerd.

  • @mrjcubed Lol your not alone

    -Lavco

  • In Texas they don't use telephones they use CB. Chuck Norris uses CB only.

  • or you just grab the power from your 12v outlet :P i don´t thing you need such a big cable (i neverd used a radio before but i think with a 12 - 10 awg you will be fine)

  • great install video guys. something different from the pc reviews. i enjoyed this video, you should do more stuff like this.

  • i like how the camera is and THIRD

  • second!

  • we need to get you guys a tripod XD
