The UN are useing these people to push their agendas. Slip the locals a few dollars to help push their agenda for the islands and for the world.
The UN also has a plan to remove the islanders and take them to France NZ or Australia where they can add to the econnomies. Great plan what about the people if you want to help them from a sinking island not a sea rising situation, get an exluvator and fix the island. But no the UN can get political advantage out of these people.
Dont get you zyzzer. Why wait for science, and studies when the person speaking and others like him live around it....where the land itself is frequently engulfed in seawater therefore endangering vegetation and thus the food source, not to mention the other dangers this space does not allow me to identify. The adverse effects will eventually spread globally, eg mass migration.
This is exactly the problem I have with global warming: people who follow it blindly and say "don't wait for science, everyone knows it's a problem." Yet the "facts" of global warming fall flat on its face when you actually study them. Yet people like this guy want to spend billions of dollars to prevent it...? It's like the Y2K theory multiplied 1000 fold.

Spot on. If your house slides into the water don't blame the iceburgs for melting.
If your island sinks dont blame the west. I know the islanders are just used as pawns for the climate change agenda of western nations mainly the UN.
