I have 2 green terrors and an Oscar in my 80 gallon tank. One of the terrors is very agressive and always chases the other terror and has nipped bits of his tail fin. It's now starting to go after the Oscar a bit and the Oscar seems to stressed.

All 3 are still small. What should I do? Leave it as it is, return the more aggressive terror, put a couple more small fish in as a distraction sort of thing?

I am surprise the oscar didn't fight back.Then again its based on personality of the fishes,I have a 7 inch Tiger Oscar,5 inch Jack Dempsey,3 inch severum,2 inch green terror,4 inch jaguar.Even though the Oscar is the biggest of the tank,he still doesn't care if they are in the tank with him and only time I see him even attack,is when the jack dempsey is trying to take control of the tank.So usually the JD will chase the other fishes around for a bit,since he knows by now not to attack the oscar

Oscars are bullies, but when fish are aggressive toward them they are usually pussy cats (wimps). I've got a a Gold Saum and Oscar myself, but the Saum is very young and the Oscar is about 1 year old. Hopefully they continue to get along as the Saum gets older.

but Ive got to tell you that you do not have a green terror( Aequidens rivulatus) but a Aequidens sp.(Gold saum) look it up true green terrors are hard to come by, you can tell them apart by the scales terrors have gray scales with blue centers and gold/silver saum has the opposite pattern, blue scales with gray centers which you'll see on your fish.

also i am yet to see a picture if true green terror with gold on the edges of the dorsal and caudal fin.

Nice terror looks exactly like mine in every way. One way I made it so my tiger oscar and green terror did not fight was had some tall plants to break up the tank. I might add my oscar is a little bigger which helps. Great looking fish.
