  • Thanks for the support, just an FYI we introduced a larger professional version, the Porta-Booth Pro in 2010 that can function as a home studio but folds down into it's carrying case is less than a minute.

  • For what it's worth...some advertisements can be a little deceptive because they are advertised to the "common man," for lack of a better term, who either isn't trained in listening to professional audio or does not have the proper equipment to do so. Well, I am a professional voice-over artist, so I listen to a lot of audio. Furthermore, I am listening through M-Audio BX5a Deluxe Active Reference monitors...and ya know what? I can't tell the difference either! I'd say this is a solid product!

  • Henceforth I'm crediting HH with "Recorded on location in a Harlan Hogan's Porta-Booth". I just got am MKH416 and yes, "I've got hair on my chest" voice now!

BTW, I use a mic stand I bought on Amazon that I love.

  • I'm gonna say the tag starting with "And it's available now"~~ It loses some of the "meat"..but I have been accused of being an audiophile, several times. And>> I may be wrong.

  • Thanks for the excellent idea of the PortaBooth. I just constructed mine and was amazed at the audio quality!

  • Does anyone know what tripod he's using to mount the microphone?

  • Did you find the mic stand? Dude I think I'm going to do this with my shoe organizer! Its tall and hangs in my closet. I kinda wish I had a USB mic as well. Im using a Shure Beta condenser mic that I bought for singing. I hope it picks up my guitar ok.
